I haven't tried it but exchange.coinbase seems like a good site
Yeah coinbase is good until you gamble, play ponzi's,HYIP's and have your earnings transferred to your coinbase account.Next morning you will see your coinbase account freezed without any notice. There are 100's of other options out there but coinbase..

I have only ever purchased bitcoins from finding a person off my Mycelium wallet.
Great honest seller and have used his service multiple times. Plus I can just use my country's currency.

Has anybody used Gemini? It is regulated exchange based in New York. So your deposited dollar might be safe there.

if it does not offer insurance it's equal to the other not secure, so they should not require any id

For bitcoin trade I always use to prefer local bitcoins.com for buying and selling a bitcoin and kraken also good for do trade with bitcoin.
What ever the trading site just be careful with security concerns. Like escrow system. For the safety.

You can choice poloniex or bittrex. Cheesy

Poloniex is good for new people on trading simple to use.

But Bittrex have very good design interface.

The Poloniex has the trading fee of 0.2% while bittrex has trading fee of 0.25%. Is it worth the 0.05% to trade at bittrex?

I mostly trade at poloniex. Majority of my trading coins are on that site. But I'm also trying out on Yobit since I'm on their signature campaign. I would've recommend yobit but the trading volume is too low for any serious trader.

Is anyone here using Uphold? IMO it's a nice service still I don't think it's ideal for big volume trading.

Have never tried this option and was weary of using it. Might have to give it a shot in the future.

The list of trading sites is very helpful, have only dabbled at altcoin trading to learn how to do this.
Found I was always buying coins on the way down from a pump and dump but its not bad for learning how to trade cheap.
Doesnt Btc-e have a lot of bots or is that even a big issue?

Kraken is good for beginner to expert level of bitcoin user and you can localbitcoins.com also, there you find easily the right traders. Scammers also less in number. Escrow will secure your fund dude.

Poloniex is the best for Altcoin trading. Its volumes of Ethereum, Monero and some other coins are very large.

Okay I just started to test Bitfinex.

I gotta say the site is cool, I like how things work and the margin trading is great.
But it's hard to understand everything! Why am I earning USD when I'm betting on BTC price with BTC equity? Why is the value of my equity decreasing while I do nothing? What are exactly the fees I pay? etc etc...

But interface is great so I'll keep working with it!
