Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

This article is full of nonsense. I wouldn't have joined Bitcoin if I ever wanted Fiat 2.0 (with the use of blockchain technology). One of the main features of Bitcoin is that it is a decentralized system with no central authority. It is not anonymous, it is pseudo-anonymous.
