If you have to ask this... why does it matter at all? 0.o

maybe the OP want to know about our opinion so the OP ask this.

I think the OP just wants to see how the opinions and thoughts of those who conduct gambling. And they can be viewed in terms of the negative and positive of gambling. Because gambling is very dangerous for those who have yet to find out the positive and negative facets of gambling

The Bible does not specifically condemn gambling, betting, or the lottery. The Bible does warn us, however, to stay away from the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10; Hebrews 13:5)

I have heard priests in my country (supposedly a catholic country but unfortunately very much away from it, ITALY) talking very hard and condemn it to the highest degree. Also every other religion beside Christianity like Islam, Jewish and all the alikes are very hard against it. So if you are a religious person, its best to stay away from gambling as in almost all bigger religions is a sin and in some of them is even considered a big sin like in Judaism or Jewish am not really that knowledgeable in this area. If you are not a religious person than nothing is a sin for you I guess so not even gambling.

Then why is the catholic church very rich? They preach things like this but it is they who use money to manipulate the poor people to follow them. Do not listen to them, if you want to gamble then gamble.

Why is catholic church is rich? because of the donations they collected from thier members? Never mind, I don't want to talk about this issue tho

It's your own choice and free will if you want to gamble nothing will stop you for that act, if you have a bankroll ready to gamble go for it(unless it's your own money), nobody cares about you and I don't care also.

Lol, church is a business. Religious person are rich because they get their earning in donation and doesn't paying any tax. I will be glad to see if this religious fanatics is paying taxes, I'm hoping for our administration to do that. This catholic leaders are abusing others.

Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.
If you ask me then I do not think that it is sin to gamble as long as you are not hurting other people like your family with it.
If you are hurting them because you give out to much money on gambling then I think that you should stop.

gambling is a sin and it's not just about hurting anyone. but sin is to do with god. because if we talk about sin it is about religion.

What is a sin to others is not a sin to some. If you gamble it may be a sin to your finances and family but not to society. We have scratch cards, lotteries, hell even at a carnival you are gambling. Just set limits and try not to pass them and you should be fine.

It is not a sin for atheists. God, being an atheist is so awesome.

Sin or not, it is stupid if you try to make a fortune out of gambling. Same goes for killing people, stealing stuff, being a liar... You don't need them to be sin, they are just bad habits. :0

For the record, it's not a sin for Christians as well, it's dictated by the intent of the actions, as are most things like this. You can't tell me it's a sin to wager a nickle between friends over some small binary option of little consequence.

Yep, i'm siding with this. Betting on its own won't impose the activity whether it's a sin or not. The nature of the action, why he did it how he did it would actually determine if it's a sin.

Why would it be a sin, I consider gambling as fun and enjoying and its not a sin at all, maybe if its forbidden by your religion its a sin but other than that its not.

I guess there are some people who think gambling is a sin, and there are some people who think gambling is not sin. I guess it just depends on the principle of each person. I feel gambling is a sin, because I am a person who has a religion, I say that gambling is a sin. so I have a principle like that, but everyone has the power of sin, so I guess some people feel it is a sin also never played it, even my

I am agree. Gambling is not a sin. You don't do anything bad with gambling, what is bad in that thing that you are trying to get some fun for yourself and make some profit or hit the bank of some casino? Nothing.

I think it is a sin if you take it very close and feel like you can gain money and everything. If you don't have much passion and feel like when you get money it is God's miracle then it's not

I think he mean gambling is a sin according to any religion rules.

How it can be a sin ? Simply it is religion rules. Anyway what do you mean about it is not a sin to society?  For me gambling is a sin no matter it is not hurts your family or whatever.
