The Bible does not specifically condemn gambling, betting, or the lottery. The Bible does warn us, however, to stay away from the love of money (1 Timothy 6:10; Hebrews 13:5)

Then why is the catholic church very rich? They preach things like this but it is they who use money to manipulate the poor people to follow them. Do not listen to them, if you want to gamble then gamble.

It's your own choice and free will if you want to gamble nothing will stop you for that act, if you have a bankroll ready to gamble go for it(unless it's your own money), nobody cares about you and I don't care also.

Lol, church is a business. Religious person are rich because they get their earning in donation and doesn't paying any tax. I will be glad to see if this religious fanatics is paying taxes, I'm hoping for our administration to do that. This catholic leaders are abusing others.

If you ask me then I do not think that it is sin to gamble as long as you are not hurting other people like your family with it.
If you are hurting them because you give out to much money on gambling then I think that you should stop.

gambling is a sin and it's not just about hurting anyone. but sin is to do with god. because if we talk about sin it is about religion.

What is a sin to others is not a sin to some. If you gamble it may be a sin to your finances and family but not to society. We have scratch cards, lotteries, hell even at a carnival you are gambling. Just set limits and try not to pass them and you should be fine.

For the record, it's not a sin for Christians as well, it's dictated by the intent of the actions, as are most things like this. You can't tell me it's a sin to wager a nickle between friends over some small binary option of little consequence.

I am agree. Gambling is not a sin. You don't do anything bad with gambling, what is bad in that thing that you are trying to get some fun for yourself and make some profit or hit the bank of some casino? Nothing.

I think it is a sin if you take it very close and feel like you can gain money and everything. If you don't have much passion and feel like when you get money it is God's miracle then it's not

Whose one to define which is which sin in itself is a lesson from human so I think gambling is a sin however differ from person to person.

Actually it is a sin in christianity too. Gambling and greed goes hand to hand. You may aruge with that and say the otherwise but it doesn't matter. Gambling equals Greed %90 of the time. And i know greed is a sin almost in every religion there is.
