People who say Bitcoin is dead, probably want to cause a price drop, so they can buy cheap coins and make huge profits

so many times now, but i have noticed the reaction to it being dead is getting less and less severe..... Shocked

The bitcoin price has risen from the last drop. This time is in response to the Chinese government's plan to issue an digital currency.

So I've kinda lost count, how many times has Bitcoin been declared dead now?

Don't be annoyed. There is much more to see in the future. It will be always various "specialist" or "competent" people which will hear about bitcoin today, will read some things tomorrow and will be convinced that are able to predict its future the next day. The fourth day will be convinced that must share all this deep knowledge to the others in order to protect (especially) these who are years with it from the secure loss of their money used to buy bitcoin. Expressing in the same share their deep sorrow about their situation and asking sorry to not did before than 4 days ago its first contact with bitcoin in order that gave these his precious advises before. The world is full with "Harvard guys" like the last one who make the article at Washington Post who have the mind in their ass.

Everyone has a different view on bitcoin plus they may have their own purpose by saying that, as this can cause someone to immediately sell his/her bitcoins for whatever they get at that time. It may also be from an unaware person that saying bitcoin is dead.

We need to start thinking how to celebrate the 100th death of Bitcoin. I can't believe it has been near 100 times that these idiots have declared the project dead.

It is true, bitcoin is often declared dead and I laughed at previous news of bitcoin's death. But this time is actually quite problematic, Haern made quite a mess with his statement.
Some people actually believed him and we are seeing how bitcoin negation is progressing in mainstream media. I see grim future ahead.

We have to prove him wrong. The community has to reach the consensus of 2MB block size very quickly.

The 'community' (chinese miners) so far reached consensus of not accepting any blocksize changes, at all. And that is the consensus we will see in 2016.
Chinese community doesn't care about bitcoin longevity or its purpose to compete with FIAT, they care about their earnings today and tomorrow.

To be brutally honest, I highly doubt that we'll be seeing $430 by the end of the day, however $405 is not beyond our grasp. Maybe something slightly higher.

I am pleasantly surprised to see that Bitcoin keeps rising, slowly, regardless of what happens to it. I wonder what is going to happen to it in the future.

It will move around 400 forever. Down when US posts scary news, up when Chinese wake up and buy back in.

Hard and there is no reason for such jump in Sunday. And was a sudden one, not a natural and slow grow along all the day.

Question is, will the current level hold during the week?
