They think what press and media tells them about bitcoin, assuming they even know what Bitcoin is. Currently, that the big news is that bitcoin "failed", unfortunately. Add to this many past news about bitocin being used for buying drugs, laundering money, being a scam, non-regulated, etc, and the general picture of bitcoin looks not attractive at all for a regular non-geek or tech-savvy people.
I also do not know why many people memikiran bitcoin only bad just like a scam, medicine, etc. Whereas too much excess bitcoin that impact both as ease of transaction, ease of selling services, etc. Perhaps the perception of ugliness bitcoin should be changed so that bitcoin received positive support from the people

Most of the people I know simply never heard about bitcoins. Those who heard about it immediatly associate it to terrorism or illegal stuff, say thank you to mainstream media!

I tried to explain bitcoin to some people but it remain really abstract.

Bitcoin is must have right now!

Really do you think that bitcoin is a must? I don't think is a must is not like that you really need it for your life.
Bitcoin is so great to have and own, because the price can just go high and with trading you can make profits.

Is just nice is like the normal people they are not that interested, because they are fine with there life.

Most of the regular people I know don't think about it at all. They never heard of it.

we need media like youtube and facebook, that cna propagate info to average joe in no time, if one of those service can adopt bitcoin by starting at least a tipping feature, i can see the awareness about bitcoin growing very well in a short time

but expecting that many of those people will also use bitcoin is another thing...much harder

Regular people don't understand Bitcoin. You need to be pretty smart to understand. Well not really.

People around me don't think investing into bitcoin is a good idea.
Most of these people only judge by what the media is saying.
What the media is putting out is always negative.

What you say seems to be who wish to be a one among the society to lead a normal life. When it comes to people who try to earn more will have keen interest  as it will get them profit that they have never experienced anything before. Try to explain to a people who is fine with what he have, Sure the next day he will ask you how it works and I want to be a part of it. Its just because of human nature.

Ya agree with you, most of the people think media is god, who give correct details about society, but they dont know that media are the ones who are played like puppet through big players. In my circle when i got to know about bitcoin and when i told them about it they all laughed and did not got involved, but now today when i am earning more than $200 to $300 per month they are starting to get interested but still they have some fear, but i told is until you are earning why are you worrying

I have introduced some people to Bitcoin back in 2013 and one of them have bought at the crash from a few days ago. He said he will hold it for a few years and not look at the price anymore from the day he bought. For him it's just an investment, but still, he thinks Bitcoin has some sort of a good future as he is willing to hold for the long term.

Normal people they always think that is difficult to use and they are not that interesting for them.
Is jus tbeter to let them be if they are not that interested I am sure that they are a lot of normal people that would like to use bitcoin.

The problem some times they don't have the technology for them.

Most of people are heard for bitcoin but they don't use it yet.
Probably they don't know much about it, and are not comfortable when they see price rising to 1000$ and falling again to 150$ how this can be good for adoption?

If Jon buys today for 400$ and tomorrow he opens wallet and have loss of 30% ?
He would probably be very mad!
Why would he transfer all his money to BTCs, If he is not investitor or trader ?
Price stability is biggest problem for average people!

I think most of them think about it as a new think, they don't want to be a part of.
That's fair since bitcoin is not easy to learn.

I have a hunch that most people who have heard about Bitcoin from others but aren't aware of how it functions would presume that Bitcoin is some form of online gimmick or something currency that people in the deep dark web use to transact to buy illegal stuff. But since the media has been reporting more about Bitcoin lately, that might change.

That's fair since bitcoin is not easy to learn.

Is not easy to learn but is easy to use just doing some signature campaign and faucets and having some wallet I think is just enough with it you can learn and learn more about bitcoin specially with faucets and later with altcoins.

Some people around me know about bitcoin but they find it too expensive to buy. I told them that they don't need to spend a penny to earn some bitcoins, they just don't feel the need to spend any time on bitcoin. They simply don't want to waste their time and money on something they don't believe in.
