Hello, I am fairly new here but have some mBTC to spare and thought I could lend some out with low interest, learning and maybe even making some friends along the way.

**I understand I am a Jr. Member but I will be very selective of newer members that ask for a loan. Obviously I will be checking applicant's post history and any references. Collateral is optional, but it will increase the chance of acceptance and may take up to half-off interest. I may request to hold (or have an escrow hold) the forum accounts of qualified applicants and they can communicate using an alternate until the debt is cleared. Stable altcoins accepted on YoBit.net will also be considered at %120. I will be selective and may deny any request without reason, though the reason is typically lack of reputation, post quality, or account/collateral worth.**

My wallet: 1KMQ3j83CDEVkKC2SpLJyRfssq54Fx6a7Q

Current Lending (available) Balance: 0.10BTC

Example B: Borrow 0.01BTC for 12 days, pay back 0.0114BTC on day 12.

Interest may stay at 1% per day up to 15 days for Trusted members.

Please just a friendly advice, keep a eye on the ledger as the lender might have old loans pending.

Collateral dude ? You're highly risking your money without collateral. You could be taken advantage of since you're new around ,I suggest you to check zazarb's loaning section or grthegreat's loaning section and see what kind of users they give loan to and basis on what collateral.Good luck with your service.

Thanks guys, considered but since they are smaller amounts and I understand that most who need loans don't have alt coins I will try this out. However, I will consider holding bct forum accounts if someone could direct me on how to do this properly.

Also if someone could help me understand how and why signing loan statements/contracts works. I know PGP encryption but don't understand 'signing.' Am I missing it in a sticky?

I would suggest using a trusted escrow for your collateral to this lender because..

Hmm I haven't gotten into alt coins much.

I want the loan as insurance for my similar deposit in this game: https://cryptoboost.co/ref/vfcoy0pb9ejmki

Most of my btc (0.2) is here (ROI tomorrow): https://btcsprout.com/r?=1KMQ3j83CDEVkKC2SpLJyRfssq54Fx6a7Q
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1314523.msg13625311

If you cannot help me with this then perhaps you can grant me a smaller loan (with low interest please) to help my reputation for now? I can pay it back within 18 hrs.

LOL

Double Ponzi ref link dropping and attempted trust farming all wrapped up in one...
And you want this loan to "insure" your deposit in a scam site? Nope..

DENIED

Good luck all..

Yes, thank you very much eddie for posting in my thread where I am offering loans to users asking for no collateral... gtfo. I lost that money in that game and guess what, I'm okay with the risk I took.

Btw BTCsprout just ROI'd which is why I can offer loans instead of paying your ass back.

I asked about the proper way to accept forum accounts as collateral, so directing me to a trusted account 'holder' with minumum fee would be appreciated. Thanks everyone else for the help, this is as much a learning experience for me as ot is a way to make some extra toshis.

Edit: Thank you, KenR! (below)

Thanks guys, considered but since they are smaller amounts and I understand that most who need loans don't have alt coins I will try this out. However, I will consider holding bct forum accounts if someone could direct me on how to do this properly.
There is a section in Meta called "Stake your bitcoin address".Basically your bitcoin address is posted there to prove you own that address and the account associated with it so incase the account is hacked, you can simply claim it again by signing a message from the address you had posted.Only you have access to that address and only you (the owner) of the account can sign a message with that btc address. This proves you're a legit owner of the address. So when you hold an account as a collateral for loans you ask him to sign a message with his address staked to his account,so you can verify and see if he's the real owner of the account he is using as a collateral.

Also if someone could help me understand how and why signing loan statements/contracts works. I know PGP encryption but don't understand 'signing.' Am I missing it in a sticky?
You sign a message means you select your address, write a message like "I'm taking xyz loan by using abc as collateral" and pgp encrypt it using any wallet or say blockchain.info.Now to verify it,other users have to use the same address, put the same message and the same generated pgp key to check if the message is legit. You can use coinig to do that .

Yes, thank you very much eddie for posting in my thread where I am offering loans to users asking for no collateral... gtfo. I lost that money in that game and guess what, I'm okay with the risk I took.

I asked about the proper way to accept forum accounts as collateral, so directing me to a trusted account 'holder' with minumum fee would be appreciated.

Well I sure am glad I didn't "insure your deposit" in that "game" then.

The way to secure a forum account as collateral is they PM you there password, then you login and change there password and email thereby taking control of the account until they repay the loan. Then after they repay, you PM them the password back so they can take control of there account back.

It is customary for the collateral to be sent first, giving the lender the opportunity to scam by running off with the account. That is why I suggest an escrow because I feel it is quite likely that you will scam..

I am giving you the benifiet of doubt that you are not a scammer but rather just naive and ignorant to how things work around here and what actions are ethical and what actions are frowned upon..

Tip:
Promoting ponzi scam "games" in your signature is highly frowned upon, see your negative trust.
Posting ref links for ponzi sites, especialy outside of games and rounds, is frowned upon atleast by me as you are promoting a SCAM.
Trying to do ANY DEALS specifically for building trust or reputation is frowned upon and indicative of a scammer.

I would like to think that you just don't know these things, "naive and ignorant", so if you want to be a upstanding citizen of this community for your hobby you should read up on proper ethics and actions around here and abide by them unless you want everyone to think you are a scammer.

Here is a good place to start learning about escrows https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
Also some of the other lenders here may be wiling to escrow accounts for you, including me. I would escrow accounts for you if the lendee agrees with no fee.

Escrow choice must be trusted by both parties so you will have to agree on who holds the collateral if you both choose to use escrow..

Please know that I'm not just trying to be a dick. If you are not a scammer then please do some research to figure out what actions you can avoid doing if you don't want everyone to think you are a scammer.

If you had provided me that loan, I may not have lost that game - which is why I was asking for the loan. Either way, you would've been paid back. But again, I'm over it just clarifying. I understand your distrust fairly.

But you mentioned negative trust, which I have none. Are you looking at the 'Sent' feeback I left for big scammers? Thank you for the help you offered though. I will be looking into these things further today!

I thought someone else would have pointed this out by now so I didn't have to post in this thread again, but I don't want to leave a refute to my statement uncontested so here.. Check your trust and figure out how it works please..

Thanks for pointing that out. I have to click 'Untrusted Feedback' for his bs to show... Well I left him the proper feedback for spamming negs against people he has never done business with. His claim is false against me, if you want to read the thread reference he included and the site itself it will explain. He simply cannot read that although that game is setup like a ponzi, the rules are clearly stated and payments are not guaranteed if there aren't enough funds in the clearly visible hot wallet. So he can go spam negs on everyone who promotes gambling sites because someone dumb like him who can't read may go play on them and cry when they lose. Anything else to clear up? I'll be here all year...

JumperX, I see your repaid loan history and am willing to give you the 0.03 loan as requested with no collateral, in agreement with interest and repayment terms in OP. Respond with newly coded format (added Total payback amount) if you still want it or disregard if you no longer need.
