Coins.ph is the best one and kinda easy to buy. You can top up your wallet in any 7/11 branch. Just told the cashier that you will pay 7-connect or just simply show them the barcode you've got in coins.ph. No hidden and extra charges. There's also buybitcoin(dot)ph and btcexchange(dot)ph but I don't know if you can also top-up in 7/11.

For me coinbase has always been the most reliable.

They verified me fast and have never withheld any of my withdrawals. That is where i buy it because i don't mind if they knew my identity exactly, as i am transfering the btc to other exchanges and converting to other coins so they wouldn't know who i am and what i do with the coins anyways later.

Trading back and forth on exchanges i use btc-e, hitbtc, poloniex.

I thing the easiest way and fastest way of buying Bitcoin is by Visa and Mastercard accepted. VirWox - The Virtual World Exchange accepts all major credit cards (via Paypal or Skrill) and allows you to buy SLL which you can then trade to Bitcoin. Using this method is faster then most options but has larger transaction fees involved

You're right that Philippines is not a country that Coinbase does business in. Do you have access to an address in another country? A relative perhaps? I believe the country is based on residence, not citizenship, etc. 

Other than that, forget about Coinbase. There's a lot of other options available. Check out Kraken.
