You just have no know when to stop gambling, if lose chances are 2 times bigger than win ones, i wouldin't risk to play

Yeah, that is true, losing at least twice in a row must be a sign that we have to stop and avoid risking.. but gamblers always wants to squeeze out their funds til they find out that they are not lucky..

gamblers definitely should know when to stop, but i think just twice lose in a row is too soon and unconvincable. it's even means nothing.

There are a lot of ways to stop gambling.  I had 2 friends join GA (Gamblers Anonymous) I finally joined too.  The hardest part is going to the first meeting.  Then the hardest part is going to the second.  Then it was easy! (for me)  I heard crazy stories about people losing their families, crazy stories of gambling everything they had.  It was just a hard wake up call for me.  I have a family - Wife was pretty pissed at my gambling.  But I finally just decided to stop.  I am not going to lie and tell you I never had the urge to gamble, because I still did.  I just learned ways of dealing with it and channeling my thoughts elsewhere.  Losing over 30 BTC def made me realize I had a problem.  But everyones dollar amount is different - to me now .01 Btc is too much to waste gambling.

If anyone wants to read about a great program in US.

http://www.gamblersanonymous.org/ga/

Just the free pamphlet they give out is great reading!

Help yourself - don't be a bad statistic!

carry on.

The problem is if they lose they trigger their self into greed or they want to get again what they lose. If the person is addicted on the game you can not convince this person to stop.
Honestly gambling is not a solution to bring us rich for being poor. sometimes someone can win but many of them are lose..
Gambling is for lucky people and for rich people. This is not for a living and this is not a job..

People are just greedy, greedy for money and they are all looking for a way to get rich quick.
Some people believe gambling is the way to go, just because they won 1 time big they will keep trying to win again and again, they think that they can get rich by doing so. While meanwhile they keep losing all that money and start creating their debt.

Yes it is true. All those who gamble can be assured they are greedy, but not closing the possibility also exists that gamble just for fun or to entertain. Wherever and whenever the greedy it will bring negative impact and forever can not be changed. Gamblers who already have greedy nature can be assured they have a lot of debt and they are very addicted to gambling

If you know that you have a gambling problem, you can do something about it. Don't sit on your ass and waste even more money, spend it on seeking out help to fix your gambling problem.

It ain't easy for someone to even think that way...
You know what will one's mind say when someone's addicted to gambling???
His mind will say: "Why not first just double my money before spending it on the way to leave gambling?", thinking that the remaining half can be used either for more gambling or for some other things...
Do you really think one who is addicted towards gambling is going to leave it this easy???

I thought greedy is not a problem, because it is natural human nature. you just need to control it

I just found out a good way to stop this kind of thing. You should bring at least one friend that will stop you when you are already on winning, no matter what you do you just need your friend to stop your addiction by stopping you right away. I just experienced this last days and it really works Grin. You guys should try it

Happy for you man!  I know what you mean about that first meeting, had to drive a friend to a meeting
because he kept driving by and could not pull into the parking lot.
The 12 step is not for every one but it works for some, good to have options.

You really should go for a walk before spouting about something you do not understand.
Lying is one of the issues and most of it is to ones self. So it may look easy from the outside but you are working off your perception of the problem.

I have a friend who was critically addicted to gambling a lot and recently he went on to take medical help which did not give him a cure.
The solution which was recommended for him was given by the doctor himself and it was to create a fake gambling
website and make him gamble and each time he would win or lose but no real money would be involved, it would make him happy as well as he would be able to get rid of his addiction.
After few months, he finally got rid of this addiction. I know it may not work for all but gambling addiction can be usually cured by gambling itself.

True, as diamonds cut diamonds, so gambling cures gambling sometimes...
But not necessarily would it work on everyone as it takes a lot of time to get rid of gambling once someone gets very much addicted to it...
It's really not easy, and an addiction next to drugs...

I've lost over 10BTC in the past three months, and let me tell you. Stopping isn't as easy as you might think. I don't know why I keep doing it but I do. And the result is always the same.
Net Profit: - 5.500BTC
Sometimes I play Black Jack, sometimes I play Dice. Most of the time it's dice, and that's basically where I lose all my money. Nothing ever works. Martingale: Nope. Reverse Martingale: Nope. All in 80-90%: Nope. Spamming 97% win chance: Nope. I wish I could stop lol

If you gamble even after you have lost, think what will happen when you win big....will you suddenly stop...no, you wont. So why not just play for fun, not for money?
