Theymos will more then likely won't delete your account , he have probably more important stuff to do . Beside , If you want to leave the bitcoin community then you can simply make a hard password or whatever and never connect again to your account . Simple as that ! |

So google should be able to find those posts . |

Probably bad idea, so don't get any ideas. But the only time theymos deleted an account from the database was when a person, don't remember the name, trolled so much that theymos decided to take action. His name now shows up as Anonymous. But I believe global mods will perma-ban you this time before theymos even bats an eye. |

Why would you want to delete your account? A Hero Member account is worth a decent amount, I'm not sure on the rules but I think you are allowed to sell it. |

You cannot delete your accounts here. Shorena did that job earlier but she is not allowed to do that nowadays. If you hate your account then do the following steps: 1. Change your account's email ID. 2. Generate a random password from here > https://identitysafe.norton.com/password-generator/3. Change your account's password and do not copy or remember it. 4. Simply press the logout button. 5 Enjoy. |

Then leave. There is no need for you to remove your account to do so. If you want to try and make it so you can't log back in, try to recover your account via Secret Question. This will lock your account until an admin intervenes. But the only time theymos deleted an account from the database was when a person, don't remember the name, trolled so much that theymos decided to take action. His name now shows up as Anonymous.
In the early days of the forum people could request to have their accounts deleted. AFAIK it happened more than once. It does not happen now as theymos would have to look through all post and PM history to ensure there is nothing awry, and that takes too much time to do. |
