A local homeless shelter here in Keene wants to be able to raise enough through private donations so they won't have to take the city's money (which has a lot of strings attached).

http://freekeene.com/2012/12/04/hundred-nights-challenge-can-you-donate-10-per-month/

You can also listen to an interview here with the founder of the shelter:
http://freekeene.com/2012/12/17/ftl-interviews-hundred-nights-founder-don-primrose/

You can donate through PayPal through their website, or mail them a check:
http://www.hundrednights.org/

They do not currently accept Bitcoins for donations. But I will accept them at the following address and deliver the funds to them in person after exchanging them: 1vV4yTFQ7mQv5FGdMnFZiN3uGMi2ZmxJg

Thank you!

Need to hook them up with BitPay - 0% fee for IRS-registered nonprofits.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time or expertise to walk them through something like this. But anyone who wants to contact them and help them set it up, please do!
