who can tell the number of transactions bitcoin handled? blockchain.info currently seems to be a little out of sync.

Also does this hold:

Number of errors in chain: 0

(I know of at least one fix that had to be done via a client upgrade)

Funny how the number tx and the number of coins match pretty closely.

Yep, out of 3.5M total minted in those 70,000 blocks.

How reasonable do you think is it to assume that those are all lost? I mean if all the other 2M moved from those early blocks, why wouldn't the rest? Who likely owns them? Satoshi?

Offered four Pampero shots for the price of one, quadriple cheeseburgers and deep fried 'Blockschokolade' (German word for cooking chocolate which comes in little blocks).

Lots of glass raising and toasting 'to blockchain eternity and beyond' .

We should use this kind of event much more and connect and celebrate globally, toast to each other via skype, buy each other drinks from continent to continent and so on.
