Those who say yes (almost half of us!) just make me smile. The only reason for you to decide that the project is a bubble is its price going up and down? And do you know what this PROJECT (not a coin) is really about besides of speculations? Have you at least read Ethereum Whitepaper?

ethereum was not in a bubble when op opened this thread. it was in a bubble when it was over 1500 usd. it's not in a bubble now.
time changes everything. there is no point to continue this thread. i think it's time for a lock.

Of course Ethereum is not a bubble! In 2018 the cryprocurrency market is going down but i think ETH is the most powerfull altcoin and it will rise soon..

a bubbles definition is pretty clear. a bubble is not just a high price, it is when price is higher than intrinsic value of the asset. $1 can be a bubble as much as $100000000 can be.

for ethereum the intrinsic value comes from the platform. this platform has a lot of issues including exploits, hacks, bad history, ether not being immutable, .... and the price is only going up because of ICOs. this means that ETH is in fact in a big bubble.
but we are not seeing a catastrophic burst only because there are a lot of newcomers that are holding their bags tight and having their fingers crossed thinking they are about to become rich.

people are afraid to lose money that is why bubble effect is happening in crypto, resulting in a very high volatility day by day. ETH is considered bubble because there is fear of missing out, and once no one can afford to buy it, and no one will accept this as terms of payment, people can easily dump it in any exchange. That is the beauty of this bubble.

Not only with bitcoin or ETH, the term bubble can be related to each and every cryptocurrency available in the market. Because, each and every digital currency is unpredictable, all we can do is just analyze the market of respective coins and make the investment. Right now ethereum is predicted to grow much high in the falling months.

Yes all coin has bubble, pump and dumping every time. It is true that no one will be able to predict the price movement of a coin, including etherum. We can only wait and watch until that time comes. I already know a lot of conditions that happen to cryptocurrencies, the most important thing is we always be calm when bubble happened. With calm then we can make the right decision, the best way is to keep our emotional control.

if someone asks me which cryptocurrency is not a buble and which one do you trust most. i would answer ethereum. because ethereum is something like core element of nowadays icos. most of the icos use ethereum blockchain. so it is ridiculous to say ethereum is buble.

If Ethereum is a bubble then all altcoins is also bubbles and they will burst before Ethereum that one of the best crypto currency as well. It has been trusted most by people after bitcoin. Ethereum have a good project and a good dev team behind who is improving ETH platform. Moreover, ETH have smart contract which will be applied many field of the life in the future so i think that Ethereum can't be a bubble. Ethereum is the inevitable of technology.

This is absolutely not true, how come it will be a bubble if more and more ICO's are really adopting their platform. I mean ethereum is really a good investment even though lots of lots of hackers are trying to highjack this token, it's composure in the market remains because people realize it's use and potential to contribute more and make the crypto market grow like never before. I believe the owner of incoming ICO's are not dumb enough for using the ETH platform, i believe they also see what i am seeing in terms of market potentials of Ethereum.

Ethereum today is definitely supported by the ICO's. Ethereum will survive this and get stronger. There are tones of ICO and important projects coming that rely on its network

Actually Ethereum itself is not a bubble but people have to buy ethereum to invest in icos. I think icos must accept 4-5 different currency at the same rate to avoid this absurdity.

I can still accept what someone would call Bitcoin's soap bubble, but there's no point in calling the etherium so. We ourselves understand that the etherium protocol makes it possible to produce more and more coins that are being introduced into all spheres of human life.

I'm surprised that many people voted that ETH is a bubble. But it seems to me that ETHER is the most persistent and reliable project. I believe in ETH.

ETH can not be a bubble, since its price depends directly on the number of finished products produced on its platform. Undoubtedly, its price is largely exceeded due to increased interest from the community, investitions, trading, but in general, it can not be called a bubble.

Bubble can be called anything.
Any cryptocurrency can be called a bubble.
Ethereum can be called a bubble, but this does not negate the fact that money can be invested in this bubble. I believe Ethereum.
