i don't care what you all think about my post. I'm not a noob in crypto world, i'm miner since 2012. And i'm hobby programmer. I buy small amount LISK in ICO phase. I was curious how this will work. After launch, i try about 10-15 mins. to receive my coins. But i could'n do it.
Today i try it again. I spend few hours to research all i need to know about this technology and i have successfully run a node and menage my coins. I read a lot of FUD about the failure launch and so and so ... but i realize that lisk wallet and blockchain are working really stable and fast. I did a lot of transaction between all my pc's (different OS), hey ... this work just brilliant.

People shouldn't go overboard on the criticism, Lisk is going to make you money. Its way above ICO price. So while yes they screwed up the Launch you're still in for a good profit.

Lisk launch post-mortem: What went right, what went wrong

Yesterday, at exactly 8pm UTC, we published Lisk v0.3.0 and announced the launch of Lisk. What a launch that was! In this post-mortem we bring light to the problems we faced, explain why our web login isn’t/wasn’t accessible, and clear up misunderstandings.



First of all, I’d like to apologise for the rough launch and the harm that the DDoS attack caused. Since the launch, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that all our systems are working perfectly again. We simply didn’t anticipate this overwhelming demand and trading chicanery.

The only problem we still face at this moment are our web logins. The reason is the same as yesterday: huge amount of traffic and ongoing DDoS attacks. However, everything else is working very well. Users can install Lisk on various operation systems like Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. Local client installations are functional and the Lisk network is alive and healthy.

The current client is aimed at technical users, but it’s relatively easy to install it with our guides. The best option is to simply use the Docker installation if you are on Windows or Mac. After we have guaranteed the network’s stability and optimised a few important Lisk modules (e.g., peer communication); we will look into options to provide a one-click Lisk client.

24 hours with Lisk — Statistics

The first day is over and we want to use this opportunity to showcase some network statistics of the last 24 hours (approximately). We are very happy that the network is enduring the big number of transactions and we will continue to keep an eye on it.



Currently, there are about 350 nodes connected to the Lisk network with the majority of them running on Unix. Other operation systems are popping up sporadically, probably because they are used by traders to send their LSK around.

During the past 24 hours we had 7537 blocks from which 4801 blocks (~63.7%) were not empty. They contained 159,114,990 LSK, i.e. 159% of the total supply. Therefore, every LSK was sent around 1.59 times on average. That means during the past 24h we saw a transaction volume of nearly $42,000,000.



Just one day after launch we already see 268 community delegates. Until now nobody got enough votes to get into the top 101. We are sure that this will happen during the first week, once things have calmed down.



The current price for 1 LSK is approximately 0.00058 LSK/BTC. We are at rank #6 on CoinMarketCap and had a 24h volume of 19,000 BTC or $8,560,000.
