I'll short lisk here and there for a few bucks, but I'm seriously considering dumping all mine and moving on to a different coin that doesn't have the possibility of this kind of manipulation.  1 person shouldn't have this much control that is exhibiting this kind of behavior. Yes other coins have manipulation, but not to this degree.  If he really decided to he could destroy the price.  He currently has more than 3x what is even on the total order book.

Yes, like I said before this whale is a dumb moron. No one will have confident again in throwing large amount of their money in Lisk knowing it could worth much much less if the dumb whale started to acting up.
My other theory and I strongly believed this is from competitor to keep Lisk in check and will never grow.
The only option now is another whale to bite a chunk of his bag next time he put it up.

I see the exact opposite. Lisk has passed this stress test very well. No catastrophic price movement under very adverse conditions and another coin Monero being on a major pump with huge volume at the same time.

I've noticed this activity has been accompanied by a lot of new faces in this thread, so appears there was a psyops effort effort to go along with the attempted manipulation. Now having seen the frequent use of bought/stolen BCT accounts being used to shill ICOs, these same type of accounts with high rank which are no longer under the control of their original owners could be used for propaganda for market manipulation as well.

I don't understand his motivation, but I think he is an attention whore. Sometimes he shows up his stack, like yesterday he put his wall for a short time. Then removed.

I noticed that he removes it when buyers start eating into his wall. So I think he is not really serious in making the price of Lisk fall. I think it is good that he is trying to control the price of Lisk from the pump and dumpers. He is actually doing as a favor by giving us more time to accumulate more.

If you want to make money or in this case BTC or LISK then you take risks. The chances are to gain that amount of coins to play with in the first place he already has taken major risks and has won.

Now who is to say he doesn't know the owner personally? In short yes it is a risk but a risk he has decided is well worth taking. It can be seen as good or bad him having so much coins, I have to lean towards the latter due to his way of letting everyone know he isn't the brightest spark.

It's almost like he was playing with someone else or group and calling a bluff and no not you guys lol You would have had the same reaction with a wall of 200btc.
