All this flashing of coins is very frustrating to me tbh... Just found on Lisk blockchain explorer that somebody moved about 4mil lisk today in one transaction which is kinda worrying and weird. I still can't open Top Accounts page can anybody help? he set them on sell @39k some hours ago, and removed few minutes later, it was a 1700BTC sell wall That's the largest ico investor, who invested 1000 BTC, "the 1000 BTC Whale" is his nickname You can see he transferred 4.1 million Lisk to poloniex on 3 August: https://lisktools.io/accountInformation.php?address=6458009167317801978LI trust he has 2fa enabled on that poloniex account If he withdraws it and uses it to vote, then he might have enough weight to get several delegate positions. 150K Lisk per year for each delegate would give him excellent interest on his investment, especially considering Lisk is the most viable and upcoming alternative to the ethereum chains. This is what I hate about DPOS. The rich still get richer and it is not really an excellent solution to POW. But I still support Lisk and I also think that it is a viable alternative to Ethereum. The Lisk marketing team should take advantage of Ethereum's problems right now and offer the companies, financial institutions and technology education institution research teams an alternative to Ethereum. thats why we should pool our lisk to forge. i don't have the tech and the time the organize this. but i will point my lisk to a pool - if there is a good one.

So what numpty moved a million dollars worth of coin to an exchange that has just 400btc buy support and then not to do anything with lol That is well worth the risk you dumb ass. Why people like that have so much money is beyond me when I see actions like that.

Maybe using a bot to sell a bit everyday in the long term. Or using the million dollars to pump and dump lisk.

Well people were afraid of selling their Lisk all this time, but now people figured out there is nothing happening at Lisk that might pump the price and it wont happen for a long time. Getting the office and forming a company is nothing to pump up the price. After that interviewing the devs and hireing, so we will have to wait for a few months to get serious news that will finally bring Lisk back to life, till then we might get bellow 30000

If you actually run a delegate node on testnet and keep it forging for 3-4 months, then you will understand that no whales will lock up their LSK for that amount of time. 150K LSK is impossible to get for any delegates as running a node with 100% uptime is impossible. Check out the top 101 delegates on testnet and see their uptime (productivity time). -tb-

Yes. This is what some people will not get. They think that any coin can be listed and will straight go to the moon right away. Instead why not be helpful to the project by spreading the word about it? If you really are invested then help.

The Lisk marketing team should take advantage of Ethereum's problems right now and offer the companies, financial institutions and technology education institution research teams an alternative to Ethereum. There is no working system yet, where the "rich get richer" rule doesn't apply. From all the systems, DPoS may actually be the one having a somewhat democratic component. Bitcoin and ethereum have the rich-getting-richer with POW. Mining for those coins is centralizing around several big mining farms, with huge startup and operating costs. DPOS does not necessarily require a huge investment to get forging rewards. You can either get voted into a forging position by the community for having a great idea, or find a forging delegate to sponsor your idea with their forging rewards. Or you can earn fees by renting out a delegate to be used for a sidechain.

Well that is the impression that I'd have as well. Is 10 million not enough to spread the word nowadays not only do I invest i now have to work to get it noticed. Strange that is.

Hi, When will the white paper be published? It takes long time to wait. From our last Community Meeting: 13. When will the white paper be ready? (lamar)
Max: I will be in Berlin in 5 days. Then I will work with Oliver on a short-term roadmap (for 2016) as soon as possible. The white paper is one of the topics I’d like to handle as soon as possible but unfortunately we don’t have the resources for it at this moment. I can write about a lot of different topics but I can’t contribute a lot to the technical specifications. Oliver is busy pushing out 0.3.2 and 0.4.0. Once again I can only say that once we are in Berlin things will go much smoother and we can work on the white paper together for 1–2 hours every day.https://blog.lisk.io/lisk-community-meeting-summary-july-30th-d5ca40942e9c#.xulm6choz
