LISK already has a built in DAO of sorts in the form of the DPOS 101 delegate system.
With LISK you could vote for 101 delegates who give the majority of their funding to LISK DAPPS.
So at a Billion dollar valuation ETH is spending hundreds of millions of dollars on mining while LISK at the same valuation would be spending much less, due to lower inflation & more importantly at the end of the year, instead of all that money having been spent on mining, 101 LISK DAPPS could have been funded with >$1 000 000 each. (In return the LISK ecosystem is developed and they could even give income they receive to LISK holders in return for the initial funding, the possibilities are endless.)
In terms of competitiveness LISK would rapidly outpace ETH.
Alternatively LISK users could also vote for delegates who burn the majority of LISK they receive thereby making the inflation minuscule compared to ETH and make it much easier to overtake it with much less demand.
So LISK can obviously and may also add an ETH type DAO but it is already from the outset much more competitively designed imo.

You just type your 12-word passphrase into a wallet in order to access your Lisk, that's it. Couldn't possibly be simpler.
I'm surprised so many people are new to the concept of these 12-word deterministic keys. They have been in use with electrum, nxt, trezor, mycelium wallets for years.
There are people who doesn't know what is a paypal even its been around for years. A Paypal is a friend who stays your friend as long as you pay him enough. Correct?  probably, but paypal hates you even if you give them money. Greedy whores they are. |

Ah, sold my share in ETH and redirected funds to Bittrex to scoop up cheap Lisk tomorrow . That is IF I get the chance to get some. It isn't unthinkable anything beneath 1$ will be bought within hours. |

When LISK "launches", how do you get yor LISK? Can you send it directly from LISK homepage to whatever adress you want? Do you first have to dl a wallet and access your LISK there?

I talked with many experienced guys about DAO, but they told me that DAO is maybe to complex, only a few people understand it and it is difficult to work with DAO in the mainstream. That is the reason why i am choose LISK for the long run!!! Lisk can also have his own DAO, if DAO is not too sophisticated!In my opinion LISK is a win win situation!
If DAO will be involved in futer, then LISK will add DAO!
IF not, then LISK will not waste money in DAOI talked with many professional programmer,they gave me the advice, that i shoould buy more Lisk! that is the truth and i will do this DAO is the biggets crowdfunding ICO ever done in world history. Ever. So, maybe you're professional programmer friends are not so professional..... 130 millions usd talk. Maybe lisk could be considered as dogecoin, and DAO as btc Maybe lisk is more easy to program, but with many limitation. DAO is for business and big projects. 130 million based off of ETH price. When ETH dies during the halvening the DAO gunna be worth less than LISK. |
