Just remember, even multi-billion dollar companies like Activision Blizzard bomb major releases. Diablo 3 was unplayable for the first few days post launch and they had every possible resource at their disposal.

Keep in mind the following:

- They had no access to ICO funds
- They had a total of 3 people working on fixes during this time due to their limited budget
- They found and fixed several critical flaws carried over from Crypti
- Yes it's a bit technical right now to run a node, but you don't have to run a node, that's only for delegates. You can login to 1 of many secure nodes being run by community members while the official wallets are under huge server loads (50,000+ concurrent connection attempts). Just make sure the node is AT LEAST HTTPS to be safe. We will post a list from the community shortly of trusted servers that you can login to that we no are on the current block.
- It's just launching in beta form and still has a long way to go. No one ever said it was complete or 100% finished product.

This is the first major release. Let's try to give them a little bit of space. Remember that they haven't received a dime of the ICO money up to this point.

Also, you can check the public wallet addresses of the team funds to see whether or not they have sold any of their funds. Last I checked, it was all still there.

My buy orders are ready for the newbie panic sales

History lesson:

Ethereum had a 12 month delay from the time they collected funds until the time they launched

They had full access to the ico funds for development during this time

There was no gui at all until 3 months after ETH was launched/listed on exchange

A bunch of people dumped their ETH for a tiny 2x or 3x profit in the days/months immediately after launch

I have to say I am impressed with the amount of progress Team Lisk has made in 2 months time with no access to the ico funds

Agreed 100%

Yeap! First at all, LISK is on the air, with problems (for somebody really BIG problems) but at the end, ON THE AIR, for now is on POO & BITT, we have nodes and wallet (yes, really really bizarre).
For now, lisk is alive! and that's is much to say, not like DES (destiny)   Wink Wink Wink Wink

How com the dev team cant sort out a working online wallet let alone a desktop 1 yet a community member can knock up a working 1 fine!!?? Can anyone from the team comment on this? is it safe to use?

We setup a cluster consisting of several nodes with SSL encryption. This takes a while to configure. Additionally, our official logins are being heavily accessed and DDoS'ed. Next to preparing nodes we also fixed the binary installation method which didn't work because downloads.lisk.io also was being DDOS'ed. It's working now. We also worked on the Docker version which is now available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

So now we should have all three methods working. More backup cluster will come.

What with the Send Lisk bug? You click send, button becomes grayed out and nothing happens.

Where do we get the passphrase for this? https://login01.lisk.io

Do we make it up? and remember it?

I never had a 12 word passphrase except for the coin purchases i made and it won't take those 12 words as a passphrase
