I like the optimism very much but the price has to come from far to even come close to $2000 in 10-11 months.
The chance of this happening is really slim but it does not even matter if the price is not that high at the end of 2016 for me. I would like the price to be at least $1000 then I am happy. |

After a few months of consolidation, the bitcoin price could rise to $1000. But it will not rise to $2000 or higher.
The price needs to hold of a minimum of 1 month in my point of view to get to that level. We are at barely to the $700 zone so its still too early either if it will hold to lead to those prices, but I have a good feeling it can if it does for each marker. |

I think majority of users would be happy even if it reaches to the price of $900 in this year and I am very much sure that many people will sell their coins when they see that price. |

It would be an interesting coincidence. However, unlikely to happen. If it happens it would be great. But it seems more unrealistic as the price is more stable for long days. We can expect a good increase in price by the year end. |

If that happens, there will be a big price bubble, the bubble will burst. It will be bad for the bitcoin reputation. |

it is very difficult to happen. you know, because bitcoin prices always go up and down even though it was a little. I also do not think that the price of bitcoin will actually arrive at the price of $ 2,000 at the end of the year, because I feel that when the price of bitcoin reached the price of $ 1000, will be very many people who sell bitcoin her and make her prices are not stable. but I am very grateful if the price of bitcoin could arrive at the price of $ 1,000 before the end of the year. |

well in my opinion it is impossible to reach such sum of money right now because there is not a lot of time left till next year, no doubt we wont see an exact number |

I think it is possible for the bitcoin price to be $2000 by the end of 2017, but no possible during early 2017. |

It would be epic, if somewhat speculative. While the rest of the global economy sinks, BTC will be a safe place to put your money and see huge growth. yes it would be awesome thing if price would go to 2000$ at end of year but that probably won't happen, price can rise only up to 1000$ till end of year Well we dont know what will happen in the future or this year maybe that the price will hit this year.. its a miracle if it will happen.. and you are right the 1k value is most provably can be happen than 2k value.. |

I don't think so that Bitcoin will hit even $ 1.5K by the end of this year. I will be much more happy to see a stable price between $ 650-700 if this remain. If this goes more higher than these price I would be much happy but now I want to be realistic about price. I don't claim because no one knows how market will react in future but I don't have any hope to see this thing happening.

When the Segregated Witness and the 2 MB block size is released, the bitcoin price could rise a lot. |
