In gambling we must need a some luck to win money whether it is skill based games or luck based. If any one need a results favour to them than they must be lucky but in gambling more chances to make money in skill based games than purely luck based games.

I do agree sports is skill based game but now a days there are so many match fixing happing so I think we still need luck to win in sports but it is not fully depends on luck. probably fair games not depends on fund but pure luck game.

i think it is skill based game that is profitable but ofcourse it depends on the players if he/she has some skill for it otherwise luck based game will be better for him. some are really skilled and some aren't IMHO

both are profitable as long as you can control your self being greedy, greed will force you to play over and over again uncontrolled and busted all your money in a secs but with controlling your self no matter it is a Skill-based games or Lucky-based games you can calmly earn a little profit but steady.

since both of them are based on luck before anything else, i have to say both are almost at the same level of profitability - unprofitability but since skill based games are dependent on another factor (which is skill) then they gain an edge so in my experience you have better chance of profiting if you are using an skill based game instead.

Skill games is like poker and luck games is like dice and slots. Sport doesnt include in this category because you just need some information to help you win each match. More information mean higher chance to win

Both of them are profitable
i was already know that for to do a gambling luck is required but i think it would not be enough and skill also necessary here because they are connected and some gambling games need these both factor luck and skill to do it such poker, blackjack, or sport games

Every game is unpredictable-whether skilled or not. The total outcome actually depends on your luck. Therefore, I strongly think all of them are profitable.

Its gotta be more profitable to play skill based games. Although, any random joe could win a jackpot of something like slot machines or lotteries but in the long run I think your spending much more then your winning. I personally would much rather play $100 of poker than to put $100 into a slot machine.

For me it's both. Without skill and luck, you can barely win a bet in gambling.
If you also win by luck at sometimes, there is no guarantee that you could win again as you are not required knowledgeable about the game and hence it does not help. Similarly all skilled gamblers are also not consistently making profits when luck plays a vital role.

the reason is simple, you can not control your luck but the skill can be obtained so that you can have better chance in that particular game and win more money.

maybe skill or luck depends on what gambling that you do,some time you gonna need skill and in another time maybe you need your luck to gamble. but you must remember if skill and luck can't help you everytime , thats why both of in unprofitable for me.

I prefer to skill based games, because you can test your skill when play it and if you lose you can buy back with your lost experience, you can learn from your lose. Lucky based games is random, easy to lost.

If the players are looking for a good profit then Skill based game it is
But if the house want the profit instead then Lucky based game it is

Skill based game will be dominated by players who understand the trick to that game and with enough practice for weeks
Just look at flappy bird, someone reached thousand score in just a few months of practices, this will happen to Skill based game
Though, skill+luck based game would be great to balance it

Interesting question, but simple one, the skill based games are more profitable. Why? At the skill based games you rely on yourself which gets better while time passes, like doing exercise everyday, while at lucky game based you rely on someone else bad luck. They say if the one repeats some exercise like 10,000 hours you might get an expert in everything.

Lucky-based games are less profitable for a skilled person in something "Sports for example or poker", but I think for someone not skilled in any specific field it might be better because your percentage would be worse in Skill-based games.

I mean you can rephrase it this way:
"Do you prefer to earn based on your merit or on pure luck? Knowing that you'll always have less luck than bank."

Cause luck based games mean you'll always loose in the end! You CAN'T win! That's the base of every casino!
