If you're winning in a trade, then someone else is losing.

Not just that. The exchange is deducting fees as well. Here is an example:

The winner gains 5% on his principal amount. After 5% fee, his net earning is 4.5%.

The loser says good bye to 5% of his principal. After 5% fee, his net loss is 5.5%.

So when someone is gaining 4.5%, the other person is losing more than that amount.

Yes, but you should not rely completely on it.

Why not to rely on it if you know you can earn enough to make a living with it? Bitcoin is not a currency like altcoins that can disappear in a minute, it is the king of digital currencies so if you have a source that is generating enough bitcoins for you to make a living with it then you can completely rely on it.

Yeah if you are managing to earn good amount of bitcoins on regular basis then you can surely depend on it for living and I think many people are doing it successfully since long time.

Trading will give you a good profit so it is possible you can make a living with bitcoin, but first you need to be very good in trading in order to earn consistently and you can grow your money. People always dream to have that kind of opportunity but seems like trading is not for everyone.

for me trading is about reading the situation and luckyness,even you're really smart or skilled on reading situation or atleast get the latest information about the thing you want to trade,without luckyness you will end up busting your money,so the first factor is luckyness i do say
and 2nd is people's opinion because it could affect the current trends whether it's buying or selling

Don't only focus on their richness or how they are making good profits, but try to understand the time they invested in learning those things, they have really worked hard in the past and now they are enjoying the fruits.

Luck should be the last option. Knowledge is priority.  Know the trend. Who is buying? Are those big people that will or cheap ones. Look if it is really supported. When you base it on luck then dont trade it will just make you broke like you said.

That's true you cannot rely only on luck to make profits and if you does then there will be no difference in gambling and trading, trading is good for those who holds good knowledge of it.

Luck comes second if something requires hard work and in trading you need to work but not to just sit and wait for winning just like gambling, because you will need to have an eye on the market when you are trading and you need to do researches about the coin you are going to trade, i obviously believe that if you are lucky you will surely win but if you work hard you would surely succeed in anything.

Hard work really pays off especially if you know what you are doing and you know your purpose. I agree that luck is only second when it comes to trading  because you need experience on it first before you can really grasp how it works and work hard on it putting your time and effort in understanding it. But you need also luck because no matter how hard you work on something if its not your lucky day then just let it be and try again the next day and you will be successful as long as you don't give up.

I totally agree with you, the  most important thing  is hard work and effort on the thing that you are aiming for and for sure it would pays you on all the effort you made. yea...I earn living with btc..but not into any project for now...buy how I earn btc is through faucet sites and trading of btc...that earn me much profits....and use it for daily expences..

Bitcoin can take care of our daily expenses if you are single, but if you have an responsibility of your family then you cannot depend only on bitcoins for living.

Maybe if you are good at trading you can support a family thru bitcoin earning. I am not good at trading but I can still earn a bit. Add that earning to what I earn in signature campaign, it can support myself. But maybe if I become an expert in trading, I can do better at earning bitcoin and can support a family.

In the other case is living with bitcoin is very profitable to try. Because it have fluctuations relative profitable too. It is possible to make a good money trading with bitcoin as it has more volume and it fluctuates hard at a given day, day traders are making a good money having a good capital as they can take advantage even with a little fluctuation, a certain percentage for a day is already a good profit.

I "like most of us here" would love to go full time with bitcoin, but like many of us i know that it can be very risky. Which is why I am waiting for bitcoin to be come more established and mainstream to worth something considerable in value. Perhaps 3-5 years waiting time is needed for this to happen..

Well, even if you build a life using the dollar will remain a risk that you will face, however, I felt that to build a life with bitcoin could be more difficult. although it is possible but the current price of bitcoin was unstable, sometimes up and sometimes down, so even if you have prepared many bitcoin for it, but it will not guarantee that you can have a lot of money every time

honestly i can not think about living a life with only bitcoin support because i do not earn even 200$-300$ per month i earn like 50$ per month so its really impossible if i even try that type of thing with this or any altcoin
