They raise their children in islam and they can not and don't see anything else. Also if muslim stop to be muslim and change his religion all other muslim should kill him.In modern civilization they are still believing in ancient rules.

yes we can find it worse, other religions have reconciled themselves with science and the modern world, muslims say the koran is the direct word of god and everything in it is perfect and can never be altered, everything in islam comes from a set of 1300 year old laws which are supposed to apply to every civilisation for all time

Christians most likely not going to chop off any of your parts if you not acting as they like. They also not used to blow themselves off on crowded places. Most importantly if some of them would do the above mentioned things they surely not going to be celebrated as the heroes of christianity. So yes there are some objective measures what can make a given religion worse that others.

You no longer see them doing so. Only few decades ago they were still hanging black people in the USA.

Christianity is 2000 years old. Until it reached 1700 it was still really usual to see Christians burning people alive. Until 1500 it was common to go in other countries and chop heads because they were not of the good religion.

Islam is only 1300 years old. Seems to me that the two religions are rather equivalent. It's just that one is older, but they're both dumb and violent religions.

hard to argue with militant athiets who refuse to make a distinction between a religion and what some religious people do because whatever you say they'll always come back with "but christians did mean things whatever # of years ago". old testament law was for a specific group of people to follow during that specific time. there is no commandment from jesus to his followers to impose it (or anything else)on the rest of the world at the point of a sword.

and there's no inconsistency between believing in evolution or not stoning adulterers and being a christian. salvation in christianity is based on believing in jesus. islam on the other hand is a works based religion. you perform certain actions allah wants you to perform and you go heaven. fighting and converting non muslims counts towards this. one isis guy told his yazidi sex slave he was bringing himself closer to god by raping her and this is entirely consistent with the koran's teachings.

I think it is more of a cultural issue. Can you imagine growing up In a country where doubting religion is forbidden? You'd face jail time, amputations or even death. For some people, their issues just no freedom from religion. Islam can be peqceful, sadly though it's the root of many problems due to regressive fanaticism.

i wasn't born to christians nor have i claimed to be one. i said it was superior to islam. so are judaism, hinduism and buddhism. there is a fundamental incompatability between islam and our civillised values of freedom of thought, freedom of speech, the rule of law and separation of church and state that doesnt arise with other belief systems.

the hands/eyes verse is to do with things that promote or enable sin. the sword verse is about division and persecution. he's saying people who follow him will be hated by their own family not calling for someone's death. there are commentaries on biblehub.com if you're interested (something tells me you arent) but i havent got hours to spend pouring over my bible typing up long explanations for 20 verses to go back and forth with someone who thinks mark and corinthians are part of the old testament.

i'm all for abortion of disabled and some nonwhites and if i had my way it would be enforced in overpopulated third world countries.
