Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Don't feed this troll. Don't comment on his crappy blog.

Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 BTC.

This is just a copy of this original blog post anyways: http://dont-tread-on.me/what-will-collapse-first-bitcoin-or-the-dollar/

Even more reason not to comment...

Huh? He doesn't even understand Bitcoin and it's a good read? And his conclusion is ponzi scheme. How original.

What's your take on the part about the Crime of 1873? Second half of the article.

Bad title since the dollar has already collapsed, since 1913 the dollar has lost more thant 95% of its initital value, now if that isnt a collapse then i don't know what is.

But as silly as the topic is, given its factual record, for the Bitcoin to achieve same level of collapse it will have to trade all the way downto something like 0.0001 $ / BTC

5% of 30$ = 0.0001$ according to your math which would define a collapse of a currency.

Good luck to you

Well much less when bitcoins first started trading they werent 30$, they were more like 0.001$ so you need a figure or 5% of 0.001$ and that is only to make it match dollar performance. Topic here asks for which will crash first, well the dollar already did.

Then apparently you lack the ability to understand it. It was coherent enough for me.

There seems to be an instant hostility against anything questioning Bitcoins usefulness and integrity, even to messengers.

That's not really a bullish signal.

Don't be such a wuss, most of us here are to make that quick buck, time the market.

"Most of us" must refer to the majority of your multiple personalities, right? Because it certainly doesn't refer to me or anyone else I know well enough to be aware of their motivations for supporting bitcoin.

Well you said the article was good. That isn't a messengers job. And to top it off, the article sucks. The guy is commenting on something that he clearly doesn't even understand.

I have instant hostility against ignorance pretending to be insightful.

You seem to believe 'good article' means 'agree with conclusion of article'.

There isn't much about Bitcoin that's not to understand by the way, it's a simple concept, just the coding of it was hard.
