I know that some of them are the same owner of the new hyips that are releasing and recently showed in some ads . i think they are syndicate they take the oppurtunitt of bitcoins anonimosity to use it to fraud many people using this coin because fraudster cannot be easily trace if they do some scammy evil doings in online world, but one thing we should really do right now is to avoid hyips and dont ever look to invest in any form of that where making fraudster more richer. |

BTC would be down(very low) without HYIPs and black market. These two categories, have over 80% from BTC market. There are MANY people who know very well what the risks are but they are playing. |

The only thing that makes it special is that they have so much users and they have operate their website for two years so most people are getting attracted to it because i know there is also a person that is telling them that hashocean is a legit and paying since 2012 but i dont think that they will operate for a lifetime . |

Maybe because 1 month have already passed since you created your account there. To active again the "free power" they force you to buy some power, so the scheme survive more some time. That is the HashOcean marketing strategy. |

That is the HashOcean marketing strategy. That is typical marketing strategy. Free stuff (here 15 khs) is only to test this service. If you like their operations, to use "free" power you have to buy at least the smallest package (here 20 khs) which at the moment costs $6.20. There's nothing suspicious. The most important is, that before you deposit any money there, you should read this entire topic at least two times.. |

Not possible the only way you can change pay out address is by email so unless your email was hacked as well there is no other way to withdraw from your hash ocean account. nice try. |

Not possible the only way you can change pay out address is by email so unless your email was hacked as well there is no other way to withdraw from your hash ocean account. nice try. There have been several similar stories provided by "Newbies". Never none of them gave any evidence or even Bitcoin address connected with HashOcean. It seems to me that they are just spammers or that's competitors activities. |

The only person claiming that he got hacked has only 4 posts and all of them are in this thread lol if you don't have any proof to provide Then no one would believe any word coming from you, there are no cash refund that could happen in few days and even if some one gets Hacked the hacker couldn't easily withdraw from that account because when you request to change the withdraw address then you would Have to click on a link sent to your email. As far as I know they are all competitors from other services or just haters. |

Also I haven't found any way to make sense of their hash rates with the payouts. I called their number, which does have a San Francisco area code, but a recording says there's a 30 minute wait "and for your convenience, one of our operators will call you back". Didn't request a number.
We should keep calling and see if that message ever changes.

You dont even have to check that to know its a red flag, but thats additional confirmation. I visit the site and it says this "695,960 users receive their profit every day." That # of legit real people has to be marketing lol. |

That # of legit real people has to be marketing lol. Just like all other HYIP sites, HashOcean can fake the numbers of investors as well. There's even a script being sold (I've found it somewhere) to fake bitcoin transactions. That much number of investors would give new investors the idea that they are "late for the party" and would just jump in and invest their money. Who doesn't want to make money without doing much effort anyway. |
