Frankly i dont think a rapid rise in price says anything about the stability of a coin, in fact i think its the opposite, the fact that ethereum has gone from 5 dollars to nearly 7 and back down to 5 in 2 days, says to me that its being fueled by hype whether intentional or unintentional. if bitcoin would under go drops and spikes of almost 25% each day i would be less excited to put my money into it.

I think it is a pump, a big pump. But I do not hear any big good news to drive up the price. Maybe it becomes popular?
