I don't consider Chinese exchanges reaching $400 being a cool thing as it doesn't have much value for me. I want Bitfinex and Bitstamp to reach $400.
In the past China has had a huge say in where the global price of BTC goes. They were the source behind the pump to $1,000+ a few years ago, and will probably be the source behind the next one. Their trade volume can easily triple ours, so we're the small fish compared to them. |

Nope. You are totally wrong with your speculation. Price is gradually increasing now!  Although its below $400 but it has risen $11.10 within 24 hrs. And i believe it will increase further. lol @ using Coinbase charts  |

No thanks, it's not the time to sell, we had the chance to sell when the price was at $460 or maybe more, i think i will not sell under $500 |

Yes, but we bitcoiners ALWAYS believe the price is going to go higher, which it isn't necessarily. It may NEVER go above $400, even after the split coming up.

If you don't have large amount of coins doing trading will be not profitable. Bitcoin fluctuation creating great oppurtunities for traders. I don't have many coins so i will just wait and watch what will be high point this time.  |

Where exchanger the price reached $400 ? I look chart now and the highest price is $390 and slowly up to $400.  Don't sell at $400 do you sell the same regret in the next few months.  |

I think it is a good thing if you buy bitcoin in price <$ 350 because it will make you a profit but if you buy bitcoin in the price of $ 400 and want to sell when the price is> $ 450 better keep bitcoin you have, until the price'm really high because I believe when the price of bitcoin> $ 450 means that it is the beginning of a rise in price of bitcoin to the highest price

I think the reasoning behind the idea that you should sell at >$400 is that it seems like the market can't remain above $400 for an extended period of time. To be serious, however, I'd keep holding even after the price breaks $400. Some people who are trying to make some quick money can most likely do some quick trading and make some money, but I can't say that I would. |

I'd hardly call this looking like it's getting ready to go back down, we've just managed to hit some resistance. We may end up hovering here for a bit before breaking through it, but for the moment I'm still confident that we will.  |

There definitely will be some resistance at $400. People are going to book profits. That doesn't mean that $400 = sell time. I am going to hold for higher profits.  |

i am looking at the charts on https://www.huobi.com/ in the USD spot BTC tab and i don't see above $410 price! the maximum price was $400 which was reached a couple of hours ago.  |

It's displaying as 412 on Bitcoinwisdom right now... may be using a different exchange rate. Google seems to agree that it's over $410   |
