If Paxful is a scam, so is localbitcoins. And was someone above seriously complaining about losing a small fee? Lol mate even if you do a $1,000 deal the fee is barely a few bucks.
Paxful is in no way a "scam", anyone who claims so is stupid. Let me answer a few points.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1362884.msg16079225#msg16079225"I had no 2FA on Coinbase, No malware
I had no 2FA on Localbitcoin, No malware
I had no 2FA on Blockchain, No malware
I had no 2FA on BTCTalk, No malware
I had no 2FA on any other site in those days, didnt got any issue with them. Why? All these site are good and have good reputation and dont want to loose it.
Did you see other scam accusation against them? Why they all have same issue. ?"
Coinbase: New IP verification, email login confirmation, location based security.
Localbitcoins: Login guard enabled by default, email confirmation, location based security.
Blockchain: Email confirmation, identifier needed to login. Without you being at fault, it's impossible to get hacked.
Bitcointalk: Lol, hacked database, tons of users have been hacked. Just because you haven't, doesn't mean the issue isn't at hand.
Paxful has a bunch of security options you chose not to enable. While I dislike 2FA, it was your choice not to enable it. A strong password isn't shit when you could look up a username against billions of entries and find that very password used no a non-secure site. Malware isn't the only possibility mate.
