This looks like a pretty interesting proposal with great potential. I might be interested in getting a full spot. Is there a way to see better stats for the wagered of the site ? Would be nice to see some real stats so we could easily track wagered per month etc. One more question would be is the profit counted before funds are taken for promotions etc ? Or will it be counted after those calculations. Looks like a really solid long term investment.
Hi Edmundduke as you may already know our site launched May, 2015 and we have wagered Total Bets: 134,430,007 Wagered: 32918.3705 BTC this is all verified through Moneypot.com as a trusted 2nd party. You can use this link to verify current and future income to see revenue for stakeholder dividends here: https://www.moneypot.com/full-stats.json the field you are looking for is this ""app_commissions":1120686974.27155" which is the current income from the end of December until today. As you may know Moneypot was taken over by a new team and there has been an adjustment period which we are now coming out of and running in full capacity. Stakeholders receive the full 80% of Bitcoin revenue, this is not after marketing or other costs, you get the entire 80% earned by the site and 75,000 Rubies to stake as well. There are only 34 stakeholder spots left and each is 1/40th of the 80% revenue. The money raised will allow us to build the entire ecosystem for Rubies to flourish and becomes the sole income for our site, similar to how just-dice runs on clams except we offer both BTC and Rubies betting. BetterBets is just the vehicle for delivering Rubies through wide distribution to the world, but there will be multiple businesses supporting it in the months to come. You can see on the OP of the thread the full revenue earned the past 9 months totals over 181 BTC, which Moneypot would easily verify to interested parties. Rubies volume is now "Wagered: 30218638.4358 RBIES" in just 5 days since launch, people are really enjoying them and the methods of distribution. Email us at contact@betterbets.io if anyone has any further questions. Please keep in mind that Bet-Mining Rubies is based on volume we have several players who have over 100 Rubies with a starting bankroll of 0.014 btc. Bet-Mining Rubies is purely volume based, there seems to be a misconception you have to lose 1 BTC to gain 30 Rubies this is completely not the case, we are talking volume just like people make on exchanges (similarly). Any site owners looking to add Rubies to your business please pm, or email us and we will help you get started. -Bjorn Thank you for the reply. I might give it a try, will see. The main issue holding me back right now is the rather limited bankroll that MP provides, it will be really hard to have a decent wagered at BB with such a small max profit. It could of course get better in the future if the invested grows in MP but it looks to stay the way it is for a while. It could be good if the interest in rubies grows and the price goes up, but it is really hard to grow a currency. If we make the calculations based on this years performance, we would need 3 years for a break even. This is just based on getting back the BTC. Lets just hope things pick up soon, been a damn slow year it seems. While your calculations are correct, please realize this: we had a few months of really great volume and then had some very intrusive real-life issue which sort of sidetracked us for a while. These issues have been taken care off and we're now once again ready to dedicate ourselves to BetterBets.io (as demonstrated by the launch of Rubies, which was more work than it seems on the surface) and push hard on the marketing front. If past performance is any indicator of what we're capable off, you should see top-notch volume around the corner again in the near future. Bjorn is a marketing machine and once the Rubies launch issues (marketing-wise) are resolved, you can be quite certain that he'll come up with exciting new ideas and campaigns to push volume.

Yes i understand this part, everyone can get into a slump from time to time and it seems overall wagered is down on most gambling sites. By the looks of it most volume and interests will be pushed towards developing Rubies. This could potentially mean a move away from BTC, reducing the value investors gain from BTC volume. The idea is that Rubies price will rise to compensate, but there's no guarantee it will. Making the main concern that investors gain nothing from Rubies volume, except the potential rise in price, which would motivate them to sell to get back the investment, therefore loosing their position as an investor. Kind of a forced situation. P.S Added this question: Lets say i get the 75000 Coins and after a year i want to stay for another year. I would then need to have 90000 coin right ? Does it grow gradually every year ? SO next would be 90000 + 20% ? And the dividends would continue for as long as my Rubies bag keeps increasing or till BB closes right ?

Making the main concern that investors gain nothing from Rubies volume, except the potential rise in price, which would motivate them to sell to get back the investment, therefore loosing their position as an investor. Kind of a forced situation. Well, consider the potential rise in Rubies value the equivalent of an insurance policy. Ideally you will get a return of your investment within 12 months (or 18 months at the latest) and then still hold a pile of rubies which will be another nice chunk of cash. P.S Added this question: Lets say i get the 75000 Coins and after a year i want to stay for another year. I would then need to have 90000 coin right ? Does it grow gradually every year ? Correct. It compounds at 20% a year. So it goes 75000 -> 90000 -> 108000 -> etc. As long as you maintain this balance, you'll be getting paid the dividends. And as we said ever since the launch of BetterBets.io: We're serious and we're here for the long run.

Hi No there can only be unique wallet.dat files connected to the network, or 1 of those wallets will show with (conflicting TX)

We've had a couple of reports of peoples wallets showing a different block number. if anyone has any wallets showing a lower block number that the explorer please let us know. Steps to check
1) Go to Debug Windows, which is found on the Help menu of the wallet 2) look at the 'Current number of block' figure
Check it against the block explorer http://blockexplorer.betterbets.io:8080

Hi No there can only be unique wallet.dat files connected to the network, or 1 of those wallets will show with (conflicting TX) Since I see this question a lot, I'm curious as to why you'd want to. There is zero benefit even if you could -- how long it takes doesn't mean anything, as you will eventually get the same number of coins regardless. In most staking wallets, I only open them every 60-90 days (meaning I stake every couple months). Then I merge the two inputs and close it out again for a couple months.

It is proof of stake, once you have coins you can stake them which will create more coins in your personal wallets. Once maintenance is finished on our site you can also "Bet-Mine" Rubies to earn more with BTC. For every 1 BTC volume you make it will credit you 30 Rubies which are instantly withdraw-able. Our team will post here once the new wallets are live for download, after maintenance is complete.
