Since bitcoin is just a money why does bitcoin wallet sites has an age limit of 18 years old before creating one?? Does having a money has an age limit?? And since online sites can't even detect people who's 18 below , why do they even bothered it ??

Does having a money has an age limit??
This has nothing to do with Bitcoin. Services can put up any age limit as they choose to. Nobody is forcing you to use their service either. Bitcoin was designed in a way where you are supposed to be your own bank. You're trusting a third party when you're using a web wallet. However, I'd like you to list a few examples. I want to see them myself.

Just use Bitcoin core, or alternative clients. Not insecure services that hold your private key, and essentially your BTCs

What wallet did you trying to create? Afaik blockchain web wallet did not applying age limit to their users so you can create it one without worry how old are you.
You just simply to choose the wallet service that didn't set an age limit , however it's just the matter of policies.

This is the same question to why credit/debit card has age limit.
But, AFAIK, everyone can use Bitcoin because Bitcoin has no age limit no matter if you are below 18 or are not born yet.

Life sucks.

Bitcoin Core does not have an age limit as far as I know and most bitcoin if not all bitcoin wallets do not even ask for your age, Blockchain.info does not ask too, Some sites like coinbase and online casinos ask but they are not even wallets but exchanges/gambling sites.

In most cases, you have to agree to terms of service but in most countries, your agreement is not binding under the age of 18.  Also, in most countries, youths are not held to law in the same manner as adults so these online companies are protecting themselves with this requirement.  It pertains to legal recourse.

Just download the wallet. There's no age limit when it comes to having a Bitcoin wallet on your own computer or mobile device. You can download the wallet of your choice here. I recommend Bitcoin Core.

What wallets say you have to be 18? Are you talking about exchanges? It's understandable you have to be 18 to use them as pretty much most places you have to be an adult to use such services dealing with the exchange of money. Trading could even be seen as gambling but either way it's definitely not something kids should be doing. Regardless you can still use many wallets like the main bitcoin one, electrum or blockchain.info etc without any problems so look at alternatives.

This is probably down to the wallet you selected, I do not recall Bitcoin Core ever having an age restriction.

I think this is because there is some shady terms in their Terms of Service, like if you their take your coins you can't attach them, and if you're younger than 18 years old, your signature would have no value.

OP is probably talking about wallets on online exchanges that ask for ID to verify the account for trading.

websites do it because for certain contracts people need to be of a legal age to consent and agree to that services terms.

remember bitcoin is not a website. jst like a bank note is not a website. but as soon as you start using third party services that manage funds on your behalf. you have to give them consent and allow them to not be blamed due to outside events not in their control.

the reason why they even bother asking. is to protect themselves. and if it ends up the customer lied, then thats a breach of contract, which also protects the business

I suppose that this limit is from companies that provide online wallets or exchanges, it could be to protect them from local government laws. For example you can make a paper wallet without any limit on your age. I never see this limit on wallets that i used, but could be written on user agreements and i didn't read all the legal text.

What wallet are you using?
Online wallets doesn't require ID.

Usually exchanges have such restriction, probably for legal reasons

Because Bitcoin is for buying drugs, guns, burger shots and assassinations. That's customarily adult territory but probably not for much longer.

I too think having an age restriction is better. Because the bitcoin is money and the services related to money has an age limit of 18, like a bank account which is only for 18, the reason is that kids cannot handle, their financial affairs it is always the elders who have the right to handle their property and financial affairs.

You can use the phone's or PC wallets... They don't check your age... But buying through exchanges definitely needs more information as part of the "know-your-customers" policies...
