Well, the amount of people which uses Bitcoin will more likely depend on the world economical development. if it is going bad as many economists predict then alternatives like Gold and Bitcoin will rise in usage.

I think it`ll be a 50/50 scenario, but more in growing pains which global investors will notice after the reactions of american markets.

Like we see on wall st, people losing money because the market is in a free all only then people seek for other alternatives.

About 5-10 percent, but most of them won't hodl them in actual wallets with private keys, instead most of them hodlers will use Bitcoin through third party apps.
Most of the future users will most likely not even know that they are using Bitcoin and that might not even be a bad thing.

probably it will be up to 60% people will own bitcoin on earth. you know, many people know bitcoin, but not interested to own it. CMIIW

I hope and voted for 40-50%, its a long shot I know but I am still hopeful since technology is spreading rapidly but realistically if only 20-30% of the world start using it, that would be great but still lots of obstacles in path.

That is 740 million of the world population. That is a long shot. I dont think we are in 10 million users yet. Still when I ask friends, relatives and friends of friends they dont know what the hell I am talking about. It is like 2 out of 100 only knew it. And those 2 just heard it not using it. I dont know man I think advertisement and media will decide about that.

10-20 percent I guess there still many percentage of poor and elite out there that will not embrace changes even virtual world already exist more people will still not go and change natural ways of currency, CC and fiat will still be exist and never be change.

If big companies turned their salary to bitcoin and enforce all their employee to get bitcoin wallet then we might pass the 1%,hopefully this will happen.

for now i think that only 10% of people know about bitcoin and own some of them so i think that in 2020 40% will know about bitcoin but only 30% own them because they will say ow the price is really high i can't invest in bitcoin anymore.
bitcoin have a long way to let all people know about btc and collect them.

I honestly don't think that statistics will exceed 15% of the global population by 2020. There are a lot of regions where people have problems getting by and covering their basis needs let alone have the time to get into Bitcoin or the means to buy computer hardware. Heck there are even places with no Internet still. The Chinese account for a big portion of that but even there a lot of people live in poverty. I think in Africa for example a small number of people own a cellphone and they don't have electricity 24 hours a day and must go to recharging stations to get their cell phones recharged.

Bitcoin wallet is unhackable when you send the money to while visa, mastercards info may be used for bad purposes

Well you right, but we can guess, we have the right to. ) I think by 2020 about 80% of the world population will hear about Bitcoin, btu how much of them will use it that's a question. I think from 10% to 20% is an accurate guess.

yeah when Steam has fully accepted bitcoin, we can see many many more to adopt bitcoin as new payment method. I would love to see big guys like Amazon, Alipay,... to use bitcoin. That will surely increase the popularity and usage of bitcoin
