I believe so a percentage a 30 to 40% for the expected percentage of the people on earth who might own bitcoin by 2020. By right now more and more people are becoming member of different signature campaign and get to know about bitcoin..

Well its only 4 years more till we reach 2020 and we are still a long way to go before we can even reach 1% it will take a few more years before we can achieve that. |

Yeah 10% would be the maximum level and not beyond that, may be it can increase in future but by 2020 I don't think we will see massive adoption, as majority of people are still not aware about it. |

I believe it is still going to be a method of payment alongside fiat instead of really competing, and therefor will keep the relatively small following that comes with that. I'd say somewhere around 10-15% will actively use it, but many more will use it in day to day life without directly contacting it.

80-90% isn't a realistic prediction, any actual or older currency had this acceptance level. |

So it shoudlnt be too hard for someone to google how to make bitcoin, and the 1st chances to a faucet gets them going.. not that faucets are good or anything, but it gives them a chance want to earn bitcoin. |

yeah it seems to be achieved for several years. but it seems to amount to 1% of the population of 10 million people instead of 70 million people was too great. the current bitcoin users may be only 3-5 million |

I agree on 20-30% ,i also vote that percentage, my own opinion is because many people if they dont handle smartly or not earning much they will not continue bitcoining..also the factor that not all people knows how to use internet well. |

that is an insanely high percentage to happen in just a few years time. if we can see 10% of the world population use bitcoin at some point in the future, then it can be seen as a great achievement. it will take plenty of years before we come even close to the 10% number. 10% stands for more than 700 million peoples. |

four years is not short time,but not enough to bitcoin reach more than 5% people to adopt it,i think like that because as i know bitcoin not impressed with any promotions and introduced in many countries,just some group who keep fall into bitcoin world,and they not focus to spread bitcoin,they focus to earn bitcoin.

I do not think we will reach 140 million users by 2020. We may reach 10 million during that period. |
