maybe the percentage will be between 2:5% and even reaching this percent is not as easy as it looks. I do not know if there is a possible way to know how many people are using bitcoin right now. but reaching 140 million users after 4 years only needs more promoting for bitcoin and need more investments and projects to start
I do not think we will reach 140 million users by 2020. We may reach 10 million during that period. we are at 3M currently 10M seems too low for 4 years time frame, if it keep this rate we won't see big aodption ever

i think a lot of people will adopt bitcoin in the future and a lot of countries will have it as a national currency that they will use for everyday items and companies will accept it too
so i would guess that at least 80 per cent of people will have at least a small amount of bitcoins as a lot of people will also want to just try it out, but surely it wont be 100 per cent

There's no way that in 4 years a lot of people will have bitcoin. Probably less than 1% have any now and it won't be much greater in 4 years.

I expect something like 1.5M-4M people use Bitcoin right now. I could be wrong, but I'm just curious.

It depends on several factors (we all know that all financial issues are almost impossible to foresee in the long run), but it especially depends on the price of bitcoin in those days. If btc is displaced by any other emergent altcurrency, of course there would be few bitcoiners then.

Same I am thinking 100 per cent people will never use bitcoin, I think in 2020 year 50% people will have been using it the reason a lot of country are not allowing then how there's people can use it, In every country's people are aware about bitcoin but there are not accepting it.

i thnk its still possible for bitcoin to be mor and more adopted by people in 4 years, after open bazaar and bitcoin halving,i'm sure bitcoin have better future, and i'm sure in 4 years is enough for bitcoin to reach 4% or 5% percentage.

I think to this day and this year bitcoin already have a lot of users spread out there. unfortunately we could not count them. but with my prediction that every state has at least more than 100k users. so maybe the more than 5 million people. we already have 1% more now maybe four more years to reach 2% of users

I think worldwide it's going to be a low percentage for a long time. Most people I know don't have any bitcoins at all an hardly even know what it is.

agree to 4-year bitcoin will not be able to get a lot of users. probably only 1-4 million users. by approximating 1 million annually. even then still difficult to happen. so 2022 may be only 1-3% only

Not a great deal more in my opinion. I think many millions more will be benefiting from its ideas as they spread around but Bitcoin itself will be leading a quiet life by the sea somewhere.

That's not fair, truly its a great deal because to the maximum if there is lot adoption it may touch 3-5% of people not exceeds it.

There is only 4 years more to be 2020. By that I don't expect a great significant change in the user ratio, may be it would be 20 to 30% more and not beyond this. If price goes very high, bitcoin may spread and adopters can be even more.

I am pretty much optimist about this and I believe there will be like %5-10 percent. I believe bitcoin and altcoins are getting pretty popular in mainstream.

I've been running a poll for some time now about the value of 1 bitcoin by 2020 and it's safe to say a lot of different opinions and guesses are made. This poll completes the other one and i'm really looking forward to everyone's input in this. Tnx for your input i think that atleast 5-10% of population will own or use bitcoins, while 30% should heard about it, because in 4 years price will rise even more, while with higher prices comes more stores that accepts it and more users, so people see even more bitcoin word in real life, so there's pretty huge chance that they will be interested in bitcoin too

This poll completes the other one and i'm really looking forward to everyone's input in this. Tnx for your input well up to 5% and not more, people thinks that everyone will know about bitcoin but sad truth that lots of people either don't know what bitcoin is, or are afraid to start using it because of how bitcoin isn't stable, this will take time, more stable bitcoin will be - more people will use bitcoin so maybe after 10more years, 10% will use it
