What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020

Since the amount of Bitcoins is limited I don't think that the percentage could enlarge dramaticaly even if there was interest. But at the moment, if you look globaly, there is only small number of world's population are Bitcoin users. To my opinion the demand for Bitcoin will rise among existing users so the price could go up dramaticaly in the future.

The amount of the bitcoin number is not relevant. Anybody can own 0.001 bitcoin if he wants in the future.

I think 3 years is not enough to reach that number of users of bitcoin on that year. I think still that would be close to 1%.

Even in 2030, the users number will not reach 1% of the world population. There are fewer than 200,000 now.

I think for me below 2 btc are more people are own bitcoins since the price will increase more in the future so halving 1 or 2 btc is more easy than halving 10 btc or more..  1 btc for me is hard to earn..

5% is not even realistic, that is too big when you are getting that percentage from the total population in the world. We are just a small community since we are not regulated yet and we have limited functions as a currency that we are only good in online.

That's difficult although possible to achieve, the users now in total are still less than 1% of the total earth,s population as estimated and that has been for many years and still we are in that percentage, so I would not believe if there is a substantial abrupt growth.

If 10% of the world populartion own bitcoin. That is 700 million people. Each can own only 0.03 bitcoin. If that 0.03 bitcoin is 1000 dollar, that is 30,000 each.

To be exact, Bitcoin started very large and efficient which enabled them to grow as fast as they did.

Contrary to popular belief BTC was easy to hear about, but was well hidden and reserved to miners who built up excessive value in the criminal underworld.

I remember you could only buy prepaid game cards at Bitcoin exclusive stores. Once hype built up around the time alt-coins came out it became more mainstream.

Bitcoin is run by normal people and institutions rather than it's secret past, so for a number 7% of people own or have created an active wallet. In 2020 the number will surely rise, but if extended it still would as well.
