What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020

By 2020 the worlds population will see a dramatic shift in the currency we use across the globe.  With more accessible means of earning and using currency via bitcoin, previously impoverished and perpetually poor parts third world countries will finally be relieved of some financial pressure. I predict 50 percent of the world will be aware of Bitcoin by 2020 and 5 percent of the world will already be users by 2020.  

We have around 300 000 transactions a day or a maximum of 110 millions a year in the blockchain.
That would mean at the current rates we will have 330 millions more by 2020.

It fells a bit short compared to the number of 350 millions which represent 5% of the population.

And this if we consider only a transaction for every person for 3 years.

Because most of the people were still scared to scammed, they always thinking that online or digital transaction were scam especially to the old one. But I'm still hoping that most of the people in the Earth were accept the value of bitcoin.

if my calculation is right. maybe only 1% of whole earth population using bitcoin right now. so don't expect for 40 to 50% using bitcoin.
if 5% of whole world use bitcoin by 2020 it would be a very big achievement.

I think that not even 1% of the population on earth is using bitcoin right now, it is true that the population is rising everyday but that does not mean that by 2020 we are going to reach mass adoption, and that goes to the reason that bitcoin is not something that is accessible to everyone.

I mean it has a price of $1500 normal people won’t invest that much money into it, and also bitcoin has a limited supply, us right now with the current user rate has mine over more than half the bitcoin so imagine if more people use it we will have nothing left to mine and cloud mining companies will fall.

Maybe about 20-30% of people with own and have bitcoins by 2020 for his outcome in the market and his value in paper money.

Each day we are getting closer and closer to that year and bitcoin is nowhere close to even reach 1% of the human population we will need several important countries like Japan to start adopting bitcoin so we could reach that 1%, and if we reach that level of adoption I think we could see very high prices for bitcoin.

I've been running a poll for some time now about the value of 1 bitcoin by 2020 and it's safe to say a lot of different opinions and guesses are made.
This poll completes the other one and i'm really looking forward to everyone's input in this.

No doubt that the trend of the bitcoin is going increasing speedly but here you should be sure that  Only few people who have money to leave for risk can enter in the bitcoin .
Here I myself entered in the bitcoin with risk of 10-20$ but after one month I certainly sure that everything is fully safe and Trusted , so I am making the big deals with bitcoin .
So here in the starting the people will hard to get in the bitcoin .
Due to these thinking in my mind , my mind says that Only 10-20% people will enter in the bitcoin at the end of 2020 year .
Here 10-20% is not a small amount for the world population .

If I had to gamble on this my bet would be on less then 1%. The reason is that few things could happen:

1. Bitcoin might have problems by then
2. Some other crypto take over and has the big %
3. It just doesn't grow fast enough

and  more. I would like it to be 100% it would be good for freedom on this planet but they will not let that happen I think.

1. You don't have to buy a whole bitcoin. The return for a 1000$ invested is the same.

2. For half of the western world 1500 is less than two weeks pay.

Since Bitcoin is not that famous right now, I am pretty sure that there won't be that many people paying and accepting Bitcoin in a few years.
I voted for only 10-20% of the people in the world using Bitcoin and even that is a very large number compared to how many people is using Bitcoin right now. I would like to see a bunch of people doing different payment styles with Bitcoin though I just can't picture that happening with all the people selling the coin and making the price look fake to the average person who does not use Bitcoin.

Nothing is impossible with the internet when it comes to propagation, advertisement and adoption.  Internet advertisement can reach almost all parts of the world.  Every single day, new people come in to bitcoin economy, so it would be possible that the growth of adoption would be exponential since each person that is into Bitcoin can influence two or more people to join him with his venture to bitcoin industry.

Three years from now isn't much time to spread the BTC and other cryptocurrencies adoption to a great percentage of the world population. That can change, of course, if something happens in India and China, that "forces" people to use it. At this stage, BTC still a complicated thing to handle, so isn't just a matter of "I tell you to use it, so you use it".

Nothing is impossible with the internet when it comes to propagation, advertisement and adoption.  Internet advertisement can reach almost all parts of the world.  Every single day, new people come in to bitcoin economy, so it would be possible that the growth of adoption would be exponential since each person that is into Bitcoin can influence two or more people to join him with his venture to bitcoin industry.

But the greatest difference is that those things that propagate over the internet don’t need any kind of investment from the users, if you want to benefit from bitcoin then you need to fork some money and that is not as easy, people love free stuff that is why you have things like youtube and facebook.

I think it will fall to 20-30% by the year of 2020, It's possible for that to happen due to it getting more and more adopted in different places. I also think that there will be something to happen to bitcoin that will make it more popular or adopted by people. So it's not impossible for the majority of the whole population that they will use bitcoin too.

I’m a little bit on the negative side so I choose the first option 0-2%, bitcoin is not going to grow that much in adoption in the next years, I think the big growth in adoption will happen in the next decade and not in this one, since bitcoin is still a work in progress.
