Well, blockchain.info is the wallet of choice if you are holding more than 1 btc, because you can afford the fees and it is very secure. If you are a faucet farmer, use Xapo. But overall, Coinbase is the best.

A lot use blockchain as a hot wallet it is very popular (I'm guessing most popular).   You can do things to secure it more I suggest looking at my hand's on with Yubikey and blockchain. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1353231.0

And no matter what make sure you treat it as a hot wallet.  As it is that so it should effect how you use it.

it's very nice hardware, iam interesting to buy 1
maybe next week i will buy yubikey, after i get payment from bitmixer signature campaign

I think you will love it especially if you use a good password manager that uses it to.   They are great tools to add 2nd factor.

There is a lot of models to choose from.  I was surprised I thought I would like full size best.  But I can leave the nano in my laptop and it barley sticks out.  And it's there when I need to use it so its very nice and cannot be triggered remotely.

Need some spare btc for a new PC

Hello All,

I am fairly new to bitcoin as a whole.
I have started running a bitcoin faucet with bitcoin adverts.

My #1 issue at the moment is finding a online wallet that fits my needs.

Here is what I am looking for:
  • I want to send a minimum 0.00010000 BTC
  • Create Multiple BTC Addresses with Labels
  • Low Transaction fee

My Current wallet charges a minimum of 0.00250000 and I have to send at least 0.01000000
I am losing 25% of any profit I make with this.

Remember I am fairly new so be gentle with your response please.

I'm using blockchain.info wallet since 2013, never had any problems at all and the fees are low.

Need some spare btc for a new PC that can at least run Adobe Dreamweaver.

blockchain.info is the best online wallet that I'm using for the long time. It has got various security features than other online wallets such as alternate address generation, piracy in profile so on which makes it more trustier.

Most trusted and reliable online wallets are coinbase and xapo. But I recommend you to use xapo. Because xapo don't have minimum deposit limit. You can cash out 50 satoshi to xapo, and you can also create multiple address with one accounts. I think xapo is good for you..good luck..

It all depends what your looking for.  Coinbase is rare as it has a insurance policy.  That is awsome if the site get's hacked and loses all it's BTC.... a insurance policy should cover it.  It does not protect your account specifically if it's your fault, it's more if it was a flaw in their side.

I really don't think xapo unless faucets that is it's specialty.  Blockchain is the number 1 used hot wallet.   And it is a good hot wallet.   Just make sure you don't store to much in it and also use 2 factor.  2 factor really can save your investment.

I will suggest to use is coinbase because i use it as wallet and it's work fine.. you can also generate new bitcoin address in this wallet
Also you can send 0.0001 bitcoin without hidden fee's..
You can also try blockchain but i never experience to use it. Electrum is my secondary wallet that you can hold your bitcoin in the long term.. But the problem is the minimum fee is 0.0001 so it doesn't fits to your needed..

When I first started playing with BTC, I used Coinbase & Blockchain.info for online wallets.  I tend to stay away from those now, however.  Not that they're necessarily bad or unsafe, I just like having all my BTC on *MY* devices and in my possession.  It's just kind of a paranoia thing, I guess...

EDIT:  I guess if I say that I'm staying away from online wallets, I should probably specify what I *AM* using.  On my desktop, I use Multibit.  For my phone, I use Mycelium.

Coinbase and Blockchain are VERY different wallets as far as online.   Coinbase you count on them 100 percent you cannot get private key.  That is part of how they are able to do the insurance is you have to go through them to send BTC.    You can't say take a private key and go into another wallet.

Blockchain.info is a total hot wallet.   You can get private key and use it in another wallet on your btc address if needed.  That is a huge difference there.

USE 2FA on either but still blockchain I would count as hot wallet, and not keep more then daily spend.

Same here. For me the best online bitcoin wallet is blockchain, because it's really easy to use, easy registration and blockchain is my first online bitcoin wallet.
