I understand that this is not BFL forum but whatever...

Of course I wanted to update my 6 BFL singles into ASIC....

I waited since October, November, December, JANUARY..

I saved some money and was able to come up around $4k in Late November... my total upgrade is about $3.9k (this is when returning the old BFL SINGLES)

Sad thing is that... DECEMBER IS A SPENDING HOLIDAY!!! so the $4k is nowhere to be found... lol..

I have around $1k left.. lol

so now my problem is...

IS BFL GOING TO EXTEND THEIR MARCH DEADLINE TO UPGRADE OLD BFL SINGLES INTO BFL ASIC SINGLES???

I THINK IT IS ONLY FAIR THAT THEY WILL EXTEND THAT DEADLINE... since they were not able to deliver in 4 MONTHS OF FAILED PROMISES...

Why not spend $26K more and upgrade to a Schmock?

I could be wrong, but I think your only allowed to upgrade one unit. Just ignore Frizz23 he has an unhealthy ass fixation. I was told he faps to 'Two Girls and a Cup'.

Why do you still have your BFL asshamster signature? The contest is long gone. You can be freeeeeeeee now.

I received a email saying they extended the trade in to June 2013. IIRC.

EDIT: FROM THE EMAIL: We've recently changed the date for trading in previously purchased FPGA Singles from March 1st until June 1st.

Hi,

I hope it is not too much to ask... but could you give me the link saying this?

Their forum is a bit messy and search function not working well... (maybe im just used to google search)

Yes, the date has been extended to June 1st, 2013.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

Yes, the date has been extended to June 1st, 2013.
Is there any way to purchase upgrades through the BFL website, or is there a different website for upgrades?

This. I'm looking to upgrade some units, but there doesn't seem to be an option for them anymore... Nice to know the deadline has been extended, but I want to get some orders in as soon as possible.

Go to purchase a BFL SC Single. On that page is a button to indicate that you're using a trade-in.

This is for buy one / trade in one, IIRC.

Might not be a convenient way to do multiples. I dunno. (Didn't need to know at the time.)

Have you seen their new website? They did away with the old system and tried to put in a fancy new system, which seems pretty cool, but it's got some issues still. There is currently no way to order an upgrade. It might be possible to put your order in, make a note and wait until someone gets you an updated price on the order before sending payment, but I'm not sure.

Have you seen their new website?
I guess not.

It was all pretty obvious and automatic when I did it.
Even paying by BTC was handled seamlessly.

Looks like BFL fixed the upgrade omission.
