Belacam does not have to overtake Instagram, and we don't expect it to. Instagram is worth nearly $40 billion dollars (double the market cap of Bitcoin). However, Belacam is a great alternative or complement to Instagram.

With the ability to hook up your Instagram account to an auto poster application on Belacam, both apps can work together to provide great user experiences.

Sounds good in principle, but it will be 99% posters waiting for their tips, rather than payers.

Users generally don't want to pay, especially if the tip has monetary value. Free models are plentiful, pay models never get off the ground (unless they start free and have massive investment over a long period)

There is a great pyramid scheme here, and buying in early will be profitable, provided you get out in time.

The best way for us to monetize Belacam is through advertisers. We envision a model where an advertiser's ad shows up in your feed, and you have the opportunity to interact with it. If you do, you will get Belacoin in return.

For example, Company A may have you play a quick 30-second game that reinforces their brand. Since you are interacting with the ad, you are much more likely to become a converting customer versus a user on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter who simply sees sponsored content and scrolls past it. After the interactive ad is over, the user might earn 1 Belacoin paid for from the advertiser, and we would take a 5-15% cut of that.

We also are very focused on creating an atmosphere where users feel that they have to give Belacoin to earn Belacoin. This might be promoted by having high-giving users show up higher on the list of people who have 'liked' a photo. Also, there is significant white space on either side of the post feed on Belacam. During alpha testing, we plan to add a segment that will showcase the most popular tags of the day as well as the users who gave the most Belacoin (assuming they opt in to this feature). That way, they are much more likely to get noticed, followed, and given Belacoin back.

Alright good to see you guys can rebrand a wallet.
But anything technical or speed/memory or anything else that could count as an improvement?

Or anything planned? Personally I don't count a rebrand as  real actual development.

Lately, we have been focusing our resources on working on Belacam rather than building up Belacoin. We believed that the Belacoin community would grow substantially as people came to check out Belacam, and that has proven true.

On our website, you will find the winners of the 2017 Belacoin Invest Initiative (http://Belacoin.org/invest). These three businesses were awarded $500 to integrate Belacoin. They should be rolling out their Belacoin integrations as early as March.
