On April 13th, we will be pitching to a partner from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, one of the largest and most famous venture capital firms in the world. They've been around since 1972 with headquarters on Sand Hill road, just across the street from Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, and others.



They have raised nearly $2.7 billion and know the VC industry like no one else. According to Crunchbase (https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/kleiner-perkins-caufield-byers#/entity), more than 38% of companies that they have invested in have either gone public with an IPO or been acquired.

In 1995, Kleiner Perkins bought 17% of Amazon. In 1999 with Sequoia Capital, they bought 20% of Google. Today, 17% of Amazon is worth $73 billion and 20% of Google is worth $116 billion. There's no denying that they have the connections that we would need to take Belacam to the next level.

They've also invested in the following companies:




In 2015, Kleiner Perkins made their first investment into a Bitcoin-based startup when they invested $12.5 million in Align Commerce (now Veem.com). KPCB has also developed their own blockchain and cryptocurrency for internal use, called 'Edgecoin."

Good luck with the partnership. This should make or break Bela depending on the outcome of the meeting. Or should I say just a temporary setback of value once partnership fails to materialize.

No one can answer that. If they do try give you an answer, they are just trying to spread FUD/FOMO.

Today, we're working on finishing up some design work on various pages and continuing the process of linking the deposits and withdrawals to an automated wallet. After that, the rest of the work is smaller but tedious things, like integrating the user search and the tag search into one search bar, making it so tags are clickable when written in a comment, and other things like that.

We also just received notice that the partner from Kleiner Perkins had to cancel due to scheduling issues. This means is that we won't be pitching on the 13th anymore. We will be aiming to do some pitches later this month and in May though. Without having to worry about preparing for the April 13th pitch, our team can be laser focused on delivering a great Belacam open beta launch. We will also now have time to get feedback and improve the site before we do our next pitch, which increases our chances of success when we do get around to more pitches.

that's the good point mate having enough attention will bring curiosity from the traders and some of them for sure will play and try to gain
profits from this good project, just needed to bring more updates and progress. keep it up dev team.

Guys I have some clarifications regarding KPCB investments. For example they want to buy/own 20%. Does it means they will buy 20% of the 33 million tokens?

another altcoins had expressive price increase today and in the last days Bela accumulated high volume... so people who invested in Bela are selling it in order to invest in other coins. Nothing to worry about yet.
Particularly,  I'm doing my part and holding it.
