Is it possible to delete my forum acount?

For reasons of personal safety, I need to clean this username. Can it be changed, and if not, can an admin delete my forum account?

as far I remember, SMF has functionality for users to delete their accounts, however it can be disabled in Admin.

I don't see it there, so try to contact admins

Thanks, I was aware that it was possible in the admin panel, i just wasn't sure if this forum would actually do it, in some communities they take a hands-off approach to account administration aside from issues relating to accessibility.
