Surely there is a lot of value to transparency; however, sometimes meaningful things will be accomplished when not on the public spotlight. The comments on the linked thread does show that there is some mixed sentiments regarding whether attempting to "live" broadcast a private (and not public) meeting is a good idea, and certain potential downfalls of such attempts. |
1) Self-Custody is a right. There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted." 2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized. 3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

22 minutes in and its been said 3 times that they are going to talk about what happened so far.. and all they can say "alot of good stuff where they are talking about stuff face to face that they cant do on a forum/reddit or mailing list" seriously i like the entertainment, but we need the content and context so far just advertising monero..  EDIT to address jetcash's comment about reducing the confirm times of bitcoin.. well monero was 1minute and is increasing to 2minutes because they seen many issues with having such a small confirm time |

so i thought it was a open meeting, but it seems bruce wants to be the chairmen of a private conversation
im guessing no details are going to be revealed
oh bruce, saying you only invited your friends and not inviting people you dont like, didnt seem like good words to say
on the flip side. the interviewer should not be making a core vs classic debate. but a code debate about feature even core could and should include, whether its features from other altcoins or other dev teams.
