Hi guys i'm thinking about to sell pure white Marble of Carrara. I have direct producers contacts and i have the best marbles qualities available for prices that a far more convenient that anywhaere else in the world.
I would offer selling for BTC of marble based stuff (everything) with shipping worldwide.
Of course you should know that marble is really heavy and would cost enough for shipment, but you will compensate with low raw material price.
What do you think about this kind of business? Could be people interested in?

Yeah, not likely on this forum. Even if you were selling pure white marble cocaine, folks here don't part easily with their bitcoin.
Be sure to lock this topic when you get the answers you're looking for. 10 years down the road, people will still be responding to this like that fucking "cupcakes for bitcoin" topic that was abandoned a minute after the guy posted it.

Shipping anything heavier than a cell phone seems to be outrageously expensive (for me at least). And the words "presale" bring back bad memories of failed coin makers, etc on here that have gone down

I'd say demand wouldn't be high enough to warrant insane shipping costs

HAHAHAHAHAHA so true. Might as well close the Marketplace section.

The only way that's going to be economical is if you're selling in huge lots, and I do mean huge. As in shipping containers full, so they can be transported by boat and train, since almost any other method would be prohibitively expensive. This all points to you needing a local distributor willing to take such a load.

It will be a better sell, if you can get the marble cut into 4" tall Bitcion BTC logo, with a hologram recess.
good luck.

As other guys mentioned the shipment can be a big obstacle for your business. For start you have to send some small packages so buyers can test it and for that, shipping costs are very high so you have to invest rather high to start your business or provide some types of promotion to attract potential customers.

You'd get more business supplying marble to builders, honestly, than selling here. Unless you can pay for the astronomical large good shipping costs, there's definitely no business here for you.

If only you accepted PayPal then I would be all over this
Yes but paypal has some problems such extra fees that imposes on both sides and also risks that imposes on sellers.

If you would like an escrow for this transaction (in BTC), I am willing to do so for a 1% fee. Please PM if interested.
