No. Trading isn't less risky compare to gambling. It's the same.

Look like you don't do regular trades that's why you said that. You don't know the feeling of gambling high amount in trading to make a road for big profit.

The difference is just trading is worth to try with risk than playing the usual gambling type.

I think trading is less like gambling because there is a lot more strategy and potential for knowledge to actually be applied in the stock market, as opposed to gambling which is typically based on random chance.
No trading is not gambling, but at there you will be aware that and can decide you strategy to earn with your trading, especially if your trade is consist of buying and selling, then it is a pure business.

Trading is gambling in my eyes because the fact is that you need luck to win a certain amount like gambling.
Also the both have almost the same risks so I think its equal to each other.

If you are trading with money like you give someone some money in return of some extra money then I think it is forbidden like gambling but we cannot call them as gambling, they are two different ways.

Yes of course it is also a gamble, there is a risk so it is also in the scope of gambling. But trading got some good news. You can learn from it. You can see some experts predictions, but that would still be a risk. It will still depend on you.

Trading is much better than gambling. Because you cant lose that much money with trading. And that is also better.
But gambling you can lose a lot of money and that is not good. You can even be poor of it and that is really bad.

I will also like to say it as gambling with their money if a person involve there without these both, but it is only verbal, in actual these both are two different things, having different rules for doing.

though there is no house edge then why it is gambling, also you are not playing against anything and you can make smart investments that can make you money

for me it is not gambling as i usually make money with trading while gambling gives me only losses and nothing else unfortunately

Yes, if a person is in trading without any knowledge and he/she is losing continuously then it is definitely gambling. Also if he do not care about his time and is wasting his time more than earning then I will call it gambling.

Life is a gamble every day you step out the door,so comparing any aspect of gambling is splitting hairs or a attempt to smear those that partake in the fun aspects of life.

For me i dont consider it as gambling ,trading is just like a exchange your goods into other goods that you think that the value of that thing(goods) will be valuable in the future..
I think in gambling you can spend your money there to have fun and play your money and try your luck if you can make money with gambling.

Yes, if you knwo what you're doing, then it's not gambling. In gambling it's a fact you will lose after some time, while at trading you can be in profit

I think trading called as gambling or not it is depend on how we play it , if trading played based on your experience /knowledge mean not random trade it is not gamble.

But if you trade randomly choosing up down up down without considering several matters which can affected to price movement , I think it is called gambling.
Trading is much better than gambling. You will lose more money in gambling than trading so it is bad.
But if you are lucky in gambling than trading is worst. But that happens not that often and that is really rare.
It is much more better if we use trade knowledge properly , discipline and be patient. trading feel like gambling once you do it hasty.

So gambling and trading basically two different thing but there is some similarities.

If you really think that no one got rich because of trading, then your world is confined to the four corners of your room. You should get outside and see the world of trading first. If you mention trading, George Soros could be the first name to come to mind. You can do a research about him and tell me if any gambler can bankrupt a country like he did or make a $1 billion profit.

It depends. I don't see the difference between day trading and gambling, at all. I work in Finance in New York City, and trading on the job somewhat slow, laden with regulations and codes that makes trading even slower, and you cannot go Ham like your on your home computer or in the movie Wolf of Wall Street, unless your dad/grandpa owns the company/bank. After the 2009 crash, they clamped down hard on that shit.

Yes, you have a greater chance of succeeding in Trading if you have the will and discipline of a good trader. Studying trends, good read of charts, and being not too greedy is just a few. Good skills plus some luck can be turn into good profit in trading unlike in gambling, it is mostly luck and only little skill.
