Yes if the algorithm of site is not too much greedy to gamblers or you knew the game well.
How does that affect the profit or loss ? Its actually based on luck . If you are lucky and not get many losses, you will end up as a winner, else if you dont have luck, you will only and only loose always.

Luck can't beat math.

If the bet has a negative expected value, doing it over and over again (like with martingale) has only one possible outcome.

Yes, martingale will profitable IF you have big bankroll and i advice you to not bet on dice sites. Better you use martingale strategy on sportsbook, it's more safe than dice sites.

IIRC, the highest recorded lost streak for a 2x run on a bitcoin casino was about 30.

Now let's calculate how much that guy lost: assuming he start with 1 satoshi as his base bet: He would had to bet 2 ^ 30 satoshis, or 1,073,741,824 satoshis on the 30th bet. (10 BTC, which is 3000$)

And that's not including the previous bets! So no, martingale is not profitable, but it's a simple strategy many newbies at gambling do..
Well, you cannot compare yourself as unlucky as the highest looking streaks, but yeah I often play at primedice and get some 8-10 bets loosing streaks pretty easily. Though when playing on bitdice and others I never get even 5 in a row.

Martingale looks easy and profitable, but it's very evil tactics in gambling.
If you keep lose and multiply, you won't realize you won't run out of money or keep gambling until win.

Not only martingale, but any tricks won't work as long as casino has positive house edge.
Also, some casino have hidden algorithm or rigged provably fair, so you can't win either way.

Nice share, It is correct that while trying your luck using martingale you didn't realized that you are losing all of your money and ends up losing in the long run. better think twice before using it.

Your best bet using Martingale to come out as a winner in the long run is:

Follow a good tipster in Sportsbook, with good history (not to be arrogant, but I am one of them so far Smiley )
Make sure to have a very very good bankroll, I recommend 1 BTC.
Start your bet with 0.01 BTC and double everytime.
A good tipster extremely rarely will lose 6 time in consecutive order.

No other ways to have Martingale profitable other than this. The larger the bankroll, the more chances to be profitable in the long run.

Martingale is the very basic strategy of gambling, if you do it properly you may get some profit. But now I have seen people prefer to bet on low odds and high profits. I think martingale is good but surely not the best one when it comes to dice strategies.
Yes Martingale can be profitable if you are lucky or I should say not too unlucky on a given day. Like you can win many bets but what basically you have to ask is that you dont get 10-15 losses in a row.

How many of you have used the Martingale System for Gambling ?
Is it profitable ?
Share your experiences with it below !

Whit martingale you will only test your luck, on the long run it's impossible to win whit a limited bankroll. If you are smart and stop in the righ moment you can have profit.

Well, OP might not believe, unless OP experienced being busted in martingale.. at first you will win, specially in small bets, but in the long run and bigger bets, it will fail you..

Martingale can be profitable given you have an incredibly large bankroll to back it and don't hit the max bet on a site.
Actually you might be right but sometimes even if you have more bankroll than even the whole site, still you might not get big profits and end up on the winning side of martingale, because you have to understand that they have a max bet option.

It will affect the winnings because if the algorithm is not fairly coded for webmaster and gamblers. For sure, the only one who will have the most profit was the webmaster and the gamblers will lose it all.

well if you are playing a game on a provably fair casino website then winning or losing does not depend on the amount of your bet. although sometimes it feels like it, i had the same feeling too but checking the bets numbers and realizing that it is a game of chance makes me feel better.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Why do people keep saying this?

How do you stop when you are in the middle of a losing streak and claim to be using martingale?

he is telling not to stop when you are in losing streak , read properly he is clearly telling that when you are using martingale and winning and are in profitable and when you are started to lose that time what ever you have winning profit just stop for that day and start fresh next day , but i wont suggest to use the same strategy on next day as you id the site owner will be knowing the strategy of your winning and will change it immediately and you will lose what you won and your bankroll also.

Martingale basically depends how many losses in a row you can survive,If you can survive ike 20-30 losses ( very tough though ) then you would easily profit in short term at least.

But martingale involves going on and on when you are in a losing streak.

It's impossible to say stop when you are ahead, because if you hit that losing streak you are going to lose a boatlaod of money. Martingale is a great wa to win a little bit of money and a great way to lose a ton of money.
