The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Just a friendly advice, don't take Paypal. I hope you know how reversible it is.

Also, just to clear any doubts : Are you going to use an escrow or do you expect the other person to send first? Can you sign a message from the address which you claim has 25 BTC?

Was interested in buying but he refused to use escrow and offered to do it smaller chunks instead.

Are you located in the United States? If so then I would be interested in buying all 25 BTC via a cash deposit (assuming you have a bank account with a branch in the Charlotte area) or via cash in the mail. This is of course if we can reach an agreement on price Smiley
