Short term profits are just luck. One day you might try to short but the price will keep going up, and you will wake up at 1000+ but you sold at 700 thinking it was a great trade.

well it depends on how much money you have and how much money you make out of your job, in my opinion its not that small of a sum because bitcoin price is going to be huge in the future

i think its a really good thing to hold 1 bitcoin because in this way person who is holding will be able to make profit, also he is a bitcoins pioneer then as not a lot of people will have that much coins in the future

Well don't you think bitcoin will more high value in the future.. its impossible for me that after 20-30 years we will see that the price of bitcoin will times 10 its impossible to think that even we are all using bitcoin.. and bitcoin price is always relaying in demand and supply not how much bitcoin live in crypto currency..

Yeah 10 btc is really good amount to hold for the future, and that should be our primary goal to hold that amount of coins, and if we hold more then it will be a bonus.

Yes earning bitcoin is not easy at all, you really need to work hard on it, but its not impossible to earn it, and if your full time job doesn't allow to spare time for bitcoin then you should simply buy it.

This simple observation shows you only need 1 BTC to be a pioneer on Bitcoin in 2016.

It does not necessarily mean that if you have a large stocks of bitcoin then you are already a pioneer. Others just have more cash to begin with but there is also partial truth in what you said since not all who have cash purchase large bitcoins some earn it overtime. But let us also consider those who own bitcoins in very huge volume and hire people to operate them.

Only the long time holders will be a winner in the end, regardless of your amount in holdings does not quality you as a pioneer as pioneer for me would mean those people who adopted early with bitcoins and becomes filthy rich already.

What do you mean by this? that the block chain size is growing substantially and it will eventually become to large? I can see this happening, as time goes on, the blockchain grows exponentially. Its already around ~80Gb. Factor increased transactions, increased usage, its not unfeasible to see this number grow into the terabytes in a few years.

The total blockchain size doesn't matter, but the blocks are full. It's not possible for (say) 10 times more users to make 10 times more transactions, unless blocks grow in size from 1 to 10 megabyte each.

The block size is almost full now. We need the block size capacity to double every year if the number of users also double.

That’s really a cool statement. Well although no one can predict accurate future, it feels really great to ride in a boat which is going on a long journey. Bitcoin price will keep fluctuating for a long time, probably a decade but it will keep increasing because the law of demand and supply. I seriously think if we really care about bitcoin then we should also spend our bitcoins instead of just acquiring because movement is the key to growth.
