Not even a galaxy far, far away is safe from the NWO machine. I could care less what people do behind closed doors as long as it is between two consensual adults. That being said, when Disney acquired ownership of the Star Wars franchise, I knew we'd be seeing it used down the road as a tool, for what better way to push NWO propaganda than by using the biggest franchise in film history: Two months and two billion box office dollars later, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has reaped huge returns for Disney with its most progressive episode yet. Now that Daisy Ridley’s Rey and John Boyega’s Finn have given the Star Wars franchise its first female Jedi and black lead, respectively, does its fearless director J.J. Abrams see a future for a gay character in the galaxy? “Of course!” Abrams said Thursday night at his Bad Robot HQ, where he hosted the US-Ireland Alliance’s annual Oscar Wilde Awards ahead of Sunday’s Oscars, where The Force Awakens is nominated in five categories. “When I talk about inclusivity it’s not excluding gay characters. It’s about inclusivity. So of course.” By Abrams’ logic, the sprawling Star Wars universe couldn’t possibly exist without a gay populace—even if we haven’t seen a single character identified as gay thus far. “I would love it,” he said. “To me, the fun of Star Wars is the glory of possibility. So it seems insanely narrow-minded and counterintuitive to say that there wouldn’t be a homosexual character in that world.” Amid the #OscarsSoWhite controversy, Abrams has been vocal about the need for Hollywood to not just talk about but take action in the name of diversity. “I think we all have a hell of a lot to do, and I think it is insane to me that we still have to have a conversation about inclusivity. It’s shameful,” he told The Daily Beast last month. “We all need to do better to represent this world. It’s something that is important to me, and is something that we’re focusing on at [production company] Bad Robot. Maybe, as some hopeful Star Wars fans have theorized, The Force Awakens already introduced the franchise’s first gay character. Who wouldn’t ship Boyega’s Finn and Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron?
Abrams, who also produced the upcoming 10 Cloverfield Lane, served as emcee for the night feting Sarah Greene, Room director Lenny Abrahamson, and late-night host James Corden, who later joined fellow honoree Snow Patrol in a musical performance. But he had special words for his Star Wars star Ridley, who landed the career-making role of plucky heroine Rey after an “insane search” because she “could believably and authentically be vulnerable, and tough, and beautiful, and relatable, confident, funny, terrified, heartsick, and physical.” She can also be cheeky, dropping two adorable F-bombs in her acceptance speech with her dad in the audience. “I’m pretty new to this,” Ridley beamed, describing a pre-fame commercial shoot that demanded she cheerfully scarf down less than appetizing food, take after take: “The pork pie was really fucking grim.” On the (Irish) green carpet, Abrams praised Ridley, sharing his delight at the fan following she’s built among both girls and boys. Optimistic, he said conversations about diversity and inclusiveness are happening more and more behind closed doors. “It’s in private meetings, it’s in private phone calls, it’s in interviews,” he said. “I know that this will happen. I know it will. Not just on camera but behind the camera.” http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/26/j-j-abrams-gay-characters-coming-to-star-wars.htmlA lot of people have shown support for the LGBT community. But one that surely says it all is Disney. Even Disney is supporting the LGBT community. The children’s channel is showing its support for gender equality by launching its first-ever gay couple! Disney Channel has first introduced a lesbian couple on “Good Luck Charlie” in 2014. Now, they have introduced its first male couple on “Gravity Falls,” reports Hilton. And they are Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durland! After the Sheriff saved the Deputy, both representing a very manly occupation, the two finally admitted their love for each other. This was on the last episode of Gravity Falls. This episode was even shown on Disney XD, which is aimed for boys.

Nobody gives a fuck about whether they're gay or not or if there is enough 'representation' within the world! It's fiction for fucks sake! Piss off! Arghhh, they're going to utterly ruin it all, I was actually interested in the stormtrooper for his background because we actually got glimpses of life on the side of the stormtroopers for once rather than them just being these generic bad guys to die in their thousands, but no, they just put the black stormtrooper in as placeholder material saying "Look we've got a black guy in!" nevermind the fact that Lando was black for fucks sake. Oh as somebody who really enjoyed the original trilogy I am not happy -_-

There is NOTHING in CB that doesn't relate to the plot and the build of the story. There is no room in fiction for sideshows.

Not surprising to me after watching the first half of season 6 of Walking Dead, where it was like homosexuality was crowbarred into the episodes just for the sake of having gayness present. It's similar to the Hannibal TV series where male characters are made female and white characters are made black for the sake of having the rainbow coalition present. I find it insulting, honestly. Not offensive, but insulting.

It's not just insulting to everybody else, but insulting in particular to the people these actors are supposedly representing, because as with all this identity and gender politics bullshit they're basically saying that all these groups of people are frail and helpless so they're going to get an easy ride.

I think it would be far truer to the story and more exotic if the characters were fucking robots and ghosts. Let's leave that boring flesh insertion behind.

Funny that in star wars it is more ok to have inter alien sex than gay sex. So they are making a leap in the right direction I guess, hope they do not make it the focus like they did with having a black lead role in the last episode. Nothing turns me off more than knowing they did something to be politically correct and make a statement. Its film and I also do not care what movement the actors are behind, thats another pet peeve! I can act, therefore I can preach. Get a brain Film industry and stop pandering in a gross way that even unsettles those you are propping up.

If they could ruin Nintendo, then why not the Star Wars? Nintendo Apologizes For Not Putting Gay Marriage In Tomodachi Lifehttp://kotaku.com/nintendo-apologizes-for-not-putting-gay-marriage-in-tom-1574185262Following widespread controversy earlier this week, Nintendo has apologized for not supporting gay marriage in Tomodachi Life, promising that if they do make a sequel, it will be "more inclusive." Video games and Hollywood movies... the next frontier in homosexual brainwashing and indoctrination.
