common Mexxer-2 , even if a newbie is genuine it hurts me when he is scammed , but in this scenario all this happened because the accuser was so called reputed , i give you a challenge , ask the newbies who got scammed about their passwords and check their PM details , i am sure you will find the truth.

Heres how I think the scam works, the accounts password is most likely compromised by a hacker... hacker sends message to victim to speak on skype then deletes messages from unsuspected heros account..(hacker doesnt change the pass just uses it to scam) I mean thats all I could think of right now, unless hes really gonna waste a hero account on that.. like the guy  mentioned above it being wortharound  200$

Maybe admins on here should implement a monthly passrenewal before signing in , to stop these from happening

This would really be a pain in the ass if implemented. And i mean there is no comfort to this and will only make people kept recovering passwords every now and then.

I suggest members not to deal directly and utilize the services of escrow. Even if we loose small amounts towards fees we will be in safer side

He's been discrediting the OP of the other scam thread, trying to deny his skype id, saying he hasn't sent any pms since the 17th. 

if you deal with someone one skype that claims to be someone here, ask for a PM. Otherwise there is no proof the guy on skype is the member from here.

And even if they do pm you, I'm not sure why anyone thinks there is significant value to accounts on here anyway.

Because of the trust system, because of naivety,  because trusted accounts can be used pretty effectively for scamming.
