Find a couple of bums and have a friend take a video of these bums beating you black and blue with their fists and feet. Make sure your shirt is off so we can see the bruises form.

To the people owed money: do you feel that this would help?

i'd prefer to get no money over forcing him to make your idea happen.

btw i think he is trying hard to fix this.
and yes: he is an attention whore: but whats wrong about that? i enjoyed his posts in the past.

lets see ...

I'll just cross-post...

MNW...if you feel the need to pay me for the silly bet, do so by continuing to find ways to advance Bitcoin...and follow through with it. I think you've got talent somewhere inside your noggin.

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.

I applaud Matthew's attempts to put things right. He, it appears, acting in good faith and trying to negotiate a settlement with parties that think that they were wronged. There is really no good reason to attack him for this.

One thing I would add is that, at least in England, with reference to Rights of Third Parties Act 1999 and in most common law jurisdictions too debts cannot be assigned to third parties without agreement of both contracting parties. I would say that if any debts were assigned to other entity than original bettors without agreement of both parties that assignment would be unlawful and unenforceable. But do check which jurisdiction is relevant and whether otherwise was specifically agreed beforehand.

Hi,

you resolved with deslok? He was passing through for me. Unlike all the others I actually came up with the money up front...
Also later on I raised my bet - which you accepted. How come my name's not on the list?

You can send my 75 BTC to 1BSqMJmf2ogXm9oSYsxhiPF1LP4nHpP7P6 or PM me any other settlement offer.

  Thank you.

El_rlee I am disappointed to see you attempting such a thing after the initial fallout I recived this message from you

50btc well received, thanks

A quick check to the address you sent me

Hi,

many thanks for your services, Matthews deadline is over and I really don't see he won the bet. Would you mind sending my BTC to 1FWMPAwHkqeTh9jdEo9YBoFztYbobZUPFS ?

        cheers,  el_rlee

A quick hop over to blockchain.info shows a 50btc transaction in both ways http://blockchain.info/address/1FWMPAwHkqeTh9jdEo9YBoFztYbobZUPFS

as far as being 75 instead of 25, that is between you and matthew and as far as I am aware no coins ever changed hands in that instance

hi,

Matthew has put you down for 75BTC in his spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ajtx05YrHtIydFVHcGxLOExTbnhqajJLZmlSZUNtM3c#gid=0 .
I increased by 25BTC here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101751.msg1123625#msg1123625 , it's my and not your liability.

thanks for your help, be sure of my spare change and maybe even more in case I win.

"If we don't hang together, by Heavens we shall hang separately." - Benjamin Franklin

If you found that funny or something i said useful i always appreciate spare change

Hi - sorry, that's not what I wanted to say.
I got my money back! Thanks for your escrow services!

What I didn't get is what MNW promised to pay in case Pirate defaults... And as I understand MNW want's to settle with the people he bet with.

So there is actually 75BTC open according to my book. That's why Matthew got the scammer tag.

All I am saying is that he actually bet against me, and not you. You were acting as an escrow but it was my money and me who was risking it.

What do you mean?

Talk is easy. He won't pay up.

Hasn't even paid me and my bet was early and low, when it still wasn't obviously a fuck up.

Wow this is great seeing as he could have just ran off with a load of money.

He never took money during the bet...no one even had to prove they had the number of BTC (or XBT I guess) they were betting (I suppose some betters pulled a Matthew in that respect as well, but we will never know).

Matthew, you wouldn't even accept my wager in your string of bets that would never be honored.
