BTW, I've just installed raiblocks wallet 8.0, the sync process get stuck when it gets to block 1496811.
I take a look at the log file under C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\RaiBlocks\log, it always  pops up the error "UDP Receive error: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host"
I notice someone else has reported the issue in  https://github.com/clemahieu/raiblocks/issues/188.
Does anyone know how to resolve the issue?

I try to set  preconfigured_peers to some IP address of the peers listed  on railblocks.net. It doesn't work.

I don't know about  what you are saying because I have no idea about computer programing .But easiest way to synchronize for me is to visit yani.sk  from where you can download blocks when u extract file copy data.Idb file  and paste it raiblocks folder when u search %localappdata% and paste it but before doing this you should copy your seed code to secure your earnings....u can also visit page 363 of this thread u can find full link there ....

Can you try to backup wallet and download autobackup of wallet and after restore your wallet? This method worked for me.

Your password will never be encrypted in my opinion, you must consult your problem to the expert on wallet.

thanks bro I have recovered my account.I uninstalled raiwallet and removed all files and backup files just reinstalled it again and copy pasted data.idb and imported my account through seed code and now its unlock.....I won't lock it again lol thanks everybody who gave response ..I appreciate it alot .God bless you all.

You do not need to copy the old data.idb file !!! (old data.idb file = you old pasword)

1) Uninstalled raiwallet and removed all files.

2) Install program wallet again

3) Download blockchain https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5gbe8d763cyq8cc/AADbcCVi7hI7OieZwOqwLcdua?dl=0

4) And import you account through seed code

p.s. If you have this Status: Wallet locked. Click "Unlock" with the empty field "Password"
