Read this update before replying.

Join us — A Group of Altcoin Technical Traders
No shilling
No egos
Pure chart analysis
No fees
No subscriptions

We only talk about altcoin trades, but it’s not exclusive to that. The only requirement is that you share your thoughts on a chart. The purpose of the group is to share the workload in finding potential altcoin trade opportunities. This way, you may be able to make profit better with less TA work and with less time.

All newbies welcomed. All experts welcomed. All trading methods welcomed. No one is a perfect trader, no one method is right. If your technical analysis is just squiggly lines, that’s ok. At least, put up some reasoning behind it.

Tools you may need:

I want to encourage traders to post their trading/crypto thoughts on https://www.reddit.com/r/TheCoinFarm/

Oftentimes conversations in the Telegram group get lost in the noise.

FYI: Coinfarm is still alive but like the rest of crypto, there is significantly less chatter in the Telegram group. That's what bear markets do, it cuts out the fat.

However, I will try to post completed trades in this thread for further study of the TA techniques used. It will be for Bitcoin and altcoins.

I think the reason why there are less people in their chat group is because there are huge surge in the number of groups doing what Coinfarm is doing and most people are interested in pump and dump group because they want results. Posting TA here will be a good thing

You are correct in your observations. In fact, I am aware of crypto Twitter influencers that got rich because of their insane subscription fees ($1,000 lifetime memberships, and 1,000 members). Because they think he can pump and dump.

But for my purposes, I just want to document my trades something like a trade journal.

Sounds like a pretty big crowd. I've heard the band's name elsewhere before. But how are healthy conversations established when there are so many members? So what I'm trying to say is that when more than 10 people are talking, it becomes very difficult to keep track of the conversations.

But I'm still going to take a chance and join the group and try to find out what's going on. Because it can't be a coincidence that I see this band so often. Smiley

It is confusing with so many members. It has become something like a trollbox like the Poloniex of old. I guess you just pay attention to members you like to listen to.

Anyway, bought Bitcoin at current price at $8336, the daily candle looking to print as a pinbar ad pattern is reverse head and shoulder, target is somewhere around $9090 resistance.

So I bought Bitcoin too soon but you can't really pinpoint the exact bottom. But I bought more when it hit $7,700 and prepared to buy more around $7,000. I tweeted that Bitcoin is extremely oversold. https://twitter.com/drei4u/status/1180951394963968000

Why don't you stick to your own paid services? I know your type - crypto guys without a skin in the game, yet gives out "advice" for a subscription fee. Fool noobs in your own thread.

Subscription fee? Without Skin in the game? Noobs in my thread?

I have been part of that group for some time. But while there is some good content distributed in there, the noise is too big. Like my telegram has been flooded with notifications every hour, but if you are a very active and like to socialise about your trades it is the perfect place for you. Personally I don't do well when I'm seeing too many trade ideas and opinions on the market. I do much better when I stay silent with only my thoughts in the head.

I joined and I cannot find technical and fundamental analysis there. There are too many members already. Try to create another group purely for TAs and FAs. Let the first group becomes the discussion room.

Anyway, why pick on purely altcoin trading? Did you profit well? Because for me, bitcoin is better and safer.

Actually I kinda agree with you re: alone with your own trade ideas. You should be able to find setups on your own. However the Telegram group is great for spotting hidden gems since you can't monitor all 2,500 plus coins.

I joined and I cannot find technical and fundamental analysis there. There are too many members already. Try to create another group purely for TAs and FAs. Let the first group becomes the discussion room.

Ah, you probably won't since I left two years ago. I plan to create temporary groups whenever I'm in a trade so it won't be noisy. I think it is more of a discussion group now.

Yes, I did during 2016-2017 https://www.reddit.com/r/TheCoinFarm/?count=50&after=t3_6x66q8
Safer means less profit. And nothing is better, trading is trading, all price actions behave the same since they are made by emotional humans.

I closed all positions around $8,750 to $8,800 because the BTCUSD resistance around $9090 is very strong and many traders are already frontrunning all the way down to $8,800. I will go long again probably around $8,200.

Ok, there are only a few hours left before a new day and a new week begins. It seems Bitcoin price is going to push for $9,200 to $9,300 before a new correction is made. So, I re-bought From $8,300 to $8,350. And I always have extra fiat if it ever goes down.

So it went down. The last time a true Wyckoff market cycle happened in the Bitcoin daily chart was in 2012 and all Wyckoff models feature a failed rally or spring on top of the distribution phase before the markdown. Obviously this is case of an ascending triangle that broke down and not a Wyckoff like somany traders are assuming. What I see "might" happen is from my tweet. https://twitter.com/drei4u/status/1184448288684040192
